"42.. 43... 44...." Deb was counting both of their situps.

Aliya keep blaming the flying pigeon throughout the punishment. "Tumhe kya zarurat thi ye danda khaufnak billi ko laa kar dene ki?!" Aliya asked sternly while glaring at him. Vrat mumbled laughingly "wese acha hai na tumhari chote chote se paon ki thodi si exercise ho rahi hai isi bahane"

Aliya intentionally bumped her knee into his and both fell down. "Oye!" Both hissed at the same time.
"Pagal bhalu ye kya kar rahi ho" Vrat asked her but after moving his sight upward he nervously mumbled something.

"Kya keh rahe ho?" The bear asked him while rubbing her knee.

"Tumhe sunai nahi deta hai?"

"Haan to ab itna tez bolo ge to kese sunai dega?"

"Peche dekho sab barabar dikhai bhi dega or sunai bhi dega" Vrat nodded his head lightly and showed his confident smile to the bear.

Aliya looked behind herself and stared at the angry bird for a few seconds. Deb hit the stick on the floor and Aliya looked towards the pigeon face asking for help through her fearful eyes.

"Dubara se shuru karo" Deb said calmly and hit the stick on the floor again.

"Maine nahi giraya tha ye is lomdi ki wajah se hua to ye dubara se shuru karegi mai nahi!" Vrat tried to get his self out from the penalty.

"Tumhari awaz sunai de rahi thi mujhe, agar do minute ma shurwat nahi hui situps ki to mai is ki shurwat kar dungi" She said while showing the stick to them.

"97.. 98... 99" As the punishment got completed Aliya and Vrat laid straightly on the floor closing their eyes in pain and exhaustion.

"Dhyan rakhna ainda se koi ulti seedhi harkaten na ho warna laitne layak bhi nahi raho ge kabutar or lomdi" Deb stormed off from there after threatening them.

"Mai to ainda se tum se 100 kadam dur hi rahunga khamakha ma mujhe bhi marwa diya" Vrat mumbled exhaustinglly and tried to move his legs. After feeling another wave of soreness he hissed loudly.

"Acha hai isi bahane tumhara chehra to nahi dekhna padhega na" Aliya answered with a tired smile on her face.

"Maa khana bohat hi badhiya bana hai!" Vrat and Aliya said syncing their words unknowingly.

"Khana kha kar ek martaba jaa kar ghalib ko dekh lena" After listening to an unusual name Deb's father confusedly glanced at her wife. She nodded her head slightly and asked Aliya to explain it.

"Baat kuch aisi hai na uncle ke meri dost ko likhne ka bohat shouk hai or mujhe ek martaba uski likhi gazal mil gayi thi, bas fir kya jaise hi maine wo gazal padhi maine Ayeza ka naam ghalib rakh diya" Aliya explained happily and clapped her hand after finishing it.

"Ayeza kon hai?" Deb's father asked again.

"Jo ghalib hai" Aliya answered with a happy face.

"Chalak lomdi dimagh par zor padhne ki wajah se tum pagal wagal to nahi ho gayi?" Vrat tried to say it slowly but it was loud enough for everyone to hear it. It was enough as the bear glared at him deadly and they started fighting again.

Deb coughed a bit loudly to grab the bickering duo's attention and they both went silent immediately.

"Ayeza isi bhalu.. Aliya ki dost hai iske saath hi ayi hai yaha par kuch din theharne ke liye" Deb cleared it up and finished the food. "Yaad se dekh lena ek martaba" She reminded her again and went towards the kitchen with her plate.

Nearly 11 pm Deb heard a loud knock on her door, she closed the files and placed them aside then walked towards the door.

"Ghalib ko kaafi tez fever ho gaya hai or wo neend se uth bhi nahi rahi hai aakar usko utha do wese bhi expert ho na logo ko uthane ma, taake dawai de du mai usko" Aliya said the last sentence slowly and looked at the angry bird's face for an answer.

"Theek hai Mai aati hu thodi dair ma, or itne aaram se meri taaref mat kiya karo kisi din shaheed ho jaogi mere haath se"
Deb said and closed the door on the bear's face.

After observing Ayeza's condition Deb got concerned a bit and then asked the bear to sleep in her room.

"Mai nahi jaa rahi tumhare kamre ma kuch tut fut gaya to tum mujhe tod doge" Aliya denied nervously and walked back a little.

"Agar kuch toda to fir to dhulai hogi lekin araam se jaa kar so jao or tabahi na machao na to aisa kuch nahi hoga" Angry bird said that with a calm tone and the bear nodded.

She checked Ayeza's temperature and tried to wake her up. After successfully waking her she forwarded the pills towards her and made her drink the water.

Ten minutes later Deb entered the guest room with a towel in her right hand, in her left hand there was a bowl filled with water and some ice cubes. She kept them on the side and soaked the towel with the cold water. As she glanced at the poet's face she heard light snores as she realized that she drifted off to sleep again. Laying the cold towel on her forehead and palms one by one and then removing the towel after a few minutes, it went on for an hour. As the poet's temperature came down. She picked up the bowl and towel then went outside.

After returning back she covered the poet properly with the blanket and walked towards the sofa.

In the midnight rabbit's sleep got broken and she sat up on the sofa after a minute. Her forehead got creased up as she observed the poet's body language. She was shivering slightly and her face was pale.

Deb walked towards her and placed the back of her hand on her forehead. After feeling an unusual temperature she covered the poet properly with another quilt. Upon finding some betterment in her condition she walked towards the other side of the bed and lay down beside her.

After opening her eyes some minutes later she found the poet snuggled up with her. She closed her eyes again and drifted off to sleep again.
