The scene in front of their eyes made them worried and confused. Vrat was trying to get out from the angry rabbit's grip while she was not loosening up her hold on his arm which was twisted behind his back and held tightly in place by the girl. As he tried to turn around on the opposite side Deb hitted her foot on his left knee to which he fell on the floor.

Aliya was staring at the pigeon which was lying on the floor his hands twisted behind his back which were held by the not so calm rabbit. Vrat eyes were squeezed shut while high pitched screams were coming out from his throat.

"Maa!!" Aliya voiced out, a bit louder actually.

"Itna hungama kis liye lagaya hua hai?!" Maa asked while coming downstairs.

Vrat opened his eyes slowly after feeling some relief in his hands and shoulders, which were out from the other person's hold now.

"Kya ho raha tha yaha?" Maa asked after witnessing the dumb pigeon sprawled out on the floor. She glanced slightly towards her daughter who was standing beside him.

Ayeza noticed a different shade of color on the unbothered girl's elbow. She slowly observed her standing position which was slightly different from the usual one. Her left knee was bent over a little and her pants were damaged from there.

"Accident?" Two confused voices made her turn around furiously. Maa nodded her head towards Ayeza, she walked ahead slowly yet steadily then tried to bend down in front of the wailing guy but before she could do it her left shoulder was grasped by a hand. She tilted her head towards that hand owner's direction.

"Agar tabiyat thodi si behtar hogayi hai to iska ye matlab nahi hai ke laparwahi shuru kar do, aise neeche jhuk kar fir se nayi samasiya ko dawat dene ka shok hai to jo man ma aaye wo karo" Deb said it calmly yet coldly which gave a little unknown yet hurtful churning to the poet.

"Shukriya" Ayeza said then remove her hand which was still holding her shoulder.

"Khayal rakhne ka keh rahi hai ya dhamki de rahi ho?" Maa questioned her while moving out from Ayeza's back. She got startled for a moment then tapped her shoes continuously on the floor. "Soch rahi hai, chalo ise sochne dete hai, ham is bikhre hue insaan ki madad kar dete hai?!" Aliya suggested it while smiling. Genuinely?

"Mai room ma jaa rahi hu" Deb said then turned around, after taking a hurried step towards the stairs an aching shot up from her knee to her whole being. "Khud bhi to chalne ke layak nahi hai na, aise kaam kyu karti ho?" Maa asked then gestured for her to sit on the sofa then went towards the drawer to get the medicine box.

"Aise hi lete rahoge?" Aliya mumbled worriedly glancing down at him, trying to hide her smile, after witnessing him laying down on the floor in a not so appreciatable condition. "Aise hi hasti rahogi? Besharam lomdi madad hi kar do thodi si!" He said groaning out from frustration. Aliya bent down beside him, watched him for a while then whispered curiously in his ear "Kyu tumhare chahne wale kis kaam ayenge agar ye sab mai karu to?" then patted his shoulder twice to which he groaned loudly.

"Acha theek hai.. maaf kar do" Vrat said while looking at her eyes, Aliya nodded once then held out her hand to help him get up from the floor.

After applying some ointment on her wounds, Maa started to assemble back the things inside the medicine box then got up. "Jaa kar araam kar lo" Nothing else was said, she got up from the sofa after some time then walked out of the house.

Inside the kitchen

"Ayeza?" Maa voiced out which startled the poet. "Haan maa? Kya hua?" She asked after diverting gaze from the pot, towards the other lady. "Mai thek hu, tum yaha kya kar rahi ho?" After hearing her question she turned her gaze again towards the pot then said with a low voice "Soup bana rahi hu"

"Kiske liye? Mai bana deti hu tum araam kar lo" She shook her head negatively, "mai bana lungi, abhi behtar hai tabiyat or kitna araam karna, kaam karungi thoda bohat to thek ho jaungi" Maa nodded confusedly then held the girl's face while turning herself in front of her. She slightly rubbed her thumb on the poet's cheek wiping off the shedded tear. "Kyu ro rahi ho?" Ayeza downed her head as she closed her eyes.
"Yaha dekho" The poet didn't knew how to answer the women ahead of her so she didn't raised her head.

"Jao jaa kar baat kar lo us se" Maa stated, Ayeza sighed calmly as the blunder of emotions came at some peace after hearing her advice.
