CAITLYN SHIFTED ON KLAUS' CHEST. her whole body was leaned on him, their legs tangled together under her bed sheets.

"Hi." She said tiredly with a smile, her eyes barely cracked open, but she could see Klaus awake, just watching her.

Klaus smiled back, running his hands through her hair to control the bed-head, "Hello, love."

Caitlyn bit her lip, making herself comfortable on his chest again and closed her eyes—she still couldn't believe he was alive, but he was and he was here.

"I have to leave later today." He whispered gently and Caitlyn turned her head toward him with a confused expression that caused Klaus to smile—she looked so innocent.

She wrapped her arms tighter around him, "Why?"

Klaus shook his head, leaning closer to her to press a kiss to her forehead, "Don't worry, I'll be back." He mumbled, his lips grazing her smooth skin.

Caitlyn huffed, nudging her head into the crook of his neck, "You better." She said as she brought her hand up to trace his feather tattoo.

His eyes fitted up and down her body, before they stopped at the crevice of her breasts, he furrows his brows, "Where's your necklace?" He questioned, bringing his hands up to trace her collar bone.

Caitlyn looked down, her brows furrowing for a moment before looking at her bathroom door, "Oh, um, it reminded me of you, and I thought you were dead, so..." she trailed off with a shrug, moving her eyes back to the tattoo.

"Where is it?" He asked, sitting up a bit.

Caitlyn looked up to him, moving her body to lay against the bed, "The bathroom. Why?"

Klaus didn't answer, only got up from the bed and entered the bathroom. Caitlyn sat up, her legs sliding off the bed, touching the ground.

He came out a few seconds later with the silver crescent moon necklace in hand. He knelt down in front of where Caitlyn sat on the bed, bringing his hands up to clip it around her neck.

"Promise me you will forever wear it." He said as he finished clipping on the necklace, he moved to cup her face.

Caitlyn nodded after a moment, "I promise." She said, Klaus smiled, moving forward to kiss her. Caitlyn let him, moving her lips with his.

He pulled away, connecting his forehead to hers—he was over the moon, she was back in his arms and he never wanted to let her go.
