THOUGHTS:
=======================
One day as I was praying and  the Holy Spirit gave me the Book of Exodus to read, and I read it  in one day eight times, until I said, please show me what you're trying to show me because I'm lost, he said Pharaoh knew what he must do, he knew the right thing to do was to ask Moses to pray for him and he even  said to him to hurry and pray, he knew that's what was going to free him from his situation he was in with the frogs and gnats.
  He knew he needed prayer but at the end he refused because he was stubborn , alot of times we know what we need in our life but we refuse to let go ,to pray or  even read our word because we know the moment we do whatever we have that's  not of God will be set free from us ,because when we pray and we read our word the power that God has can set the worst of people free , but we have to submit. Pharaoh refused to submit ,he refuse to let go , he wanted what he wanted even though he knew what he had wasn't meant for him to keep so instead he harden his heart until this happens.
Exodus 12:29 And that night at midnight, the Lord struck down all the firstborn sons in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sat on his throne, to the firstborn son of the prisoner in the dungeon. Even the firstborn of their livestock were killed."
Things happen to show us what we must do; he had no choice then. God had gotten his attention, and as you can see, even in this, God showed mercy to him; he went through all the plagues and got to the last one, and this is the one where he was ready to resolve the issue , why do we choice to be stubborn instead of doing what we need ? which is freedom and truth.
    God gave him every opportunity, and he has done the same to us and for us, he has allowed us to choose to let go, so he holds back our blessings which is causing the spirit of delay to step in on the new house we want, or something else , just to get our attention because, just like Moses was Pharaoh's warning, we have people now that God had sent to us to  give us a warning and has shown us things. BUT We refuse to do it, and we refuse to change. We have gone as far as calling the man or woman of God evil because we don't want to let go or change.
The Holy Spirit is saying to us today: dont let your heart hardened, don't let the things of this world keep you bound, let go of everything that could be keeping you stubborn; even as Pharaoh let them go, he realized he didn't want to let them go , so he he chases them , and he even sends people to run after them
"Exodus 14:5 When word reached the king of Egypt that the Israelites had fled, Pharaoh and his officials changed their minds. "What have we done, letting all those Israelite slaves get away?" they asked. 6 So Pharaoh harnessed his chariot and called up his troops."
Sometimes, after realizing what we are doing is wrong we go back to the SIN ; we go chasing it to have it because it's ours, right?BUT  that is how the enemy wants us to feel and think that this sin is ours , and that it makes us feel good and its okay not to want to let it go and instead of saying no and leaving it alone ,we chase what we THINK makes us complete but what we think makes us comeplete doesn't.
  Yes the new thing that God has placed in us or placed in our life, has a odd feeling because we never did that before ,we never walked pure ,we never walked righteously, but when we give it time and we don't fight  against what God is doing in us ,we soon see that life is okay with out  the sin we THOUGHT WE WANTED , and what hes trying to do soon it will feel like peace, it will feel like comfort, but we have to give God opportunity. The thing with Pharaoh is  he didn't want to be without what he thought was his, we have to let go of what's not ours , which is a life of sin, etc isnt ours,  peace is ours, love is ours ,mercy is ours ,grace is ours .
   *** Today we talked about releasing what's not ours , and this week we have talked about how sin can cause us to feel on the inside , and how we must allow God  to circumcise our heart , we must allow God to help set us free , just like Pharaoh we can be stubborn ,we can keep holding on to whatever sin it is , but as long as we are holding on to it ,the spirit of delay will keep us from everything that suppose to be ours, don't allow what you want to cause you to be spiritually blind, or cause you to miss your blessings  because of stubbornness.  ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee
