THOUGHTS:

Every tv has a remote to it , well each tv starts off with a remote unless you buy it used or you can always go get a universal remote but thats besides the point every tv has a remote and the tv I have came with an orginal remote it does the job but i was reading that I could buy this other remote for my tv that cost 30.00 extra it comes with a voice finding feature ,and it even comes with a mic so I can speak and it will turn the tv on and off , and instead of batteries I can just charge it.
I thought it had some really neat feature that I couldn't live without so I go to the store and picked it up, and I program it and the remote was amazing so I put my old remote up ,but within 4 months the buttons was sticking, now the remote is useless but I still use it because I paid $30.00 for it , but after while I am tired of this remote because its not doing anything its just more frustrating then what its worth , I had to get my old remote out and no it dont do the voice thing and yes I have to put batteries in it but it does what i need.
In our spiritual life, we will have things come and go. Things we want to do and shouldn't, but whatever those things are, we can't let them control our life; a lot of times, the sin or things and people in our life will control everything, and we have to get to the point in our life where we say okay ,I need to place the control back into God's hands because some times using weed or abusing prescription drugs , illicit sex and obsessive amount of wine can become something that controls us IF WE ALLOW IT TOO, yes at the time those things seem amazing but at the end it's not worth having those things and people in our life.
We can't allow those things to control us, no matter how good things look and feel, and if they aren't spirit-led, we shouldn't do it; the new remote felt great, but it was more problems than what I needed , we have to be content with what God gives us and be content with the peace we have , and not look for other things to give us that peace , but if its lead by the flesh we must stop and surrender everything to God and allow him to lead us by his spirit.
" 1 Corinthians 2:14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.
When we start to become flesh -led things about Christ, and the things of the spirit become something we dont want to hear, because of conviction , it plays a big part in this , because we have fallen away or drifted away; conviction that takes over that makes us refuse to hear anything because the moment we do ,we know why its there because we know we have gone to a place we shouldn't be ,BUT WE dont want to STOP, but we dont want to feel the conviction it becomes a tug of war with our emotions .YET AND STILL we refuse to hear anything nor see anything about God
" Colossians 3:13 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God."
We always have to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us, and He will lead us to seek the things of above; which is heaven, things of the spirit will also help us to be content ! We aren't content because of how we are on the inside our (mental and emotional state). We will want to feed our spirit man but when we are controlled by the flesh, we can't possibly think that we are going to do anything other than feed our flesh.
***Today God wants us to be led by the Holy Spirit ,he also wants our heart to be fixed on him, and when we are ,we become content, being content with what God gives us , also shows growth, it shows we are stable in our relationship with God too , that no matter what he gives us we will be satisfied ,and as this happens we become less guided by the things of this world .
We have less of a desire to allow THINGS & PEOPLE to lead us , we have to PLACE OUR SELVES IN OUR WORD , DOWN ON OUR KNEES TO PRAY , MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT , AND FAST so that those things can create a barrier between us and the world because when we use the things of the spirit and we do the things that we should do God will do the rest ! PRAYER

Heavenly Father , thank you for today ,father we are so humble to have you in our lives we ask that you continue to mold and shape us for your good work. Lord today we learned that we must be content please show us how to do that , show us how to be accepting of your blessings and what you have for us , lord help us to not be led away by the things of the flesh but only be led by the spirit , lord we give you everything , we you our life and we ask that you renew our mind so that we may be focus on you and your word . Lord we need you every day in Jesus Mighty Name Amen
