Saturday

I was woken up by my phone ringing, I groaned and picked up and saw it was Zoey who was calling me. Oh yeah. She had something to tell me or show I don't remember. I answer the call "Hey, Zo.." I said in a tired voice, while rubbing my eyes. "Hi, Vee. So meet me at your secret bunker at 8, k?" She said in a whisper. Why was she whispering? "Hey, Zo who ya talking t-" Then the call ended. Is what I heard. 'Zo?' I thought I was only the person who called her 'Zo'

I rolled out of bed, falling on the floor. "Ughh..." I groaned and got up from off the floor. "At least I have something to do today," I said, as I walked to my bathroom, slouching and my arms hanging. I took a shower, blow dried my hair, straightened my hair, brushed my hair, brushed and flossed my teeth and then went over to my walk-in closet to pick out something to wear. "Hmmm.. what to wear... aha! Perfect," I said, grabbing black biker shorts, a midnight blue crop top and a pair of white converse shoes.

I put the outfit on and looked in the mirror, then gave myself a thumbs and grabbed my tote bag, before heading out.

After a few minutes of walking I arrived at my bunker, where I saw Zoey standing there, looking like a nervous wreck. "Gahhh.. what if she doesn't like them? Or worse she calls some exterminators?!" She whisper-shouted to herself. "I'm here, Zo. So what's up? What is this secret of yours?" I asked, putting a hand on my hip. "Ooooh girl you look good," She said, not answering my question. "Thanks, but tell me the secret now. Wait— you didn't break any of my tech, right? Please tell me you didn't," I begged. "No, no.. it's definitely not that. 'Cause if it was I wouldn't even tell you."she said. "Wait what-" "But that's not important. The important thing is that you do not freak out. Like— at all." She said, grabbing me by the shoulders and looking me in the eyes.

"Yeah, got it now get your face outta mine," I said softly pushing her away. "Okay... follow me," she said, taking my hand and leading me to a...

...Manhole... WTF!?

"Zoey... is the secret that your boyfriend lives in the sewers?" I asked in a monotone. "What? No. I don't even got a boyfriend," she said, before lifting up the manhole cover. "Umm.. maybe this secret should stay a secret, 'cause, girl... this is the damn sewers," I said with a disgusted tone and look. "Please trust me on this, Veela... please?" Zoey said, in a pleading tone. "Er— fine," I said, rolling my eyes. "Yess!" She then hugged me and dragged me down the manhole.

We walked and walked, but I kept hearing a voice in my head saying, "girl, it ain't worth it just leave." But I shouldn't. I wasn't going to. I didn't want to make Zoey upset. For once I actually trusted her on something, so maybe this will actually be good! Man, I'm so nervous. I swear if this is a cult I am gonna put a gun to my head.

"Were almost there," Zoey said, grabbing my hand and holding it. I was confused at this, but let it happen and continue. "Okay, this better be cool," I said, holding tight on my tote bag with my other hand. "Oh this will be," she said with a smirk. Hmm.. not sure, saying that this 'thing' is in the sewers...

"We have arrived," she said, pulling me closer to her as we entered some kind of... lair? It looked like a lair. But way more— homey. "Zoey... are you saying that you've been hiding this absolute beauty of a lair from me?! Girl, you gots to be shitting me right now," I said, facing her. "She is definitely not shitting," someone said from behind me.
