"Now, your turn. And I expect perfection! You are Sixth years after all." Professor Ronen called out.

The class all started shifting in their seats, pulling their wands out and pointing them at the marshmallows we had on our desks. Professor Ronen walked around the room, observing each student.

I looked over at Sebastian. He was focused with a look of concentration on his face. He carefully moved his wand.

"Duro."

The marshmallow immediately turned to stone and Sebastian smiled instantly. He moved the next marshmallow in front of him and continued.

It was our first day of classes back at Hogwarts. Ominis and I immediately compared schedules with Sebastian. There was not one class he did not have with at least one of us, so we knew we could keep an eye on him if needed.

Sebastian, however, seemed to be adjusting well. He was smiling and laughing. He was even up early and dressed for the first day before Ominis, something Ominis called a once-in-a-lifetime event.

I was impressed with how well Sebastian seemed to be doing. It was something Ominis and I had worried about all summer. We weren't even sure he would be back, let alone be back and excited to go to school. Perhaps it was the magic of Hogwarts, but it affected him. Whatever it was, it was working.

"Y/n," Poppy whispered as she leaned in her seat towards me, "how are you feeling?"

I looked over at her a bit confused. She saw me in the common room this morning so she must know that I'm fine. I leaned towards her, trying to keep the conversation quiet enough so Ronen would not call us out.

"Fine. Why do you ask?" I whispered, scanning her face for clues to her question. She shrugged her shoulders.

"I haven't spoken to you much since the party. You sort of rushed out of that after, well, you know." She said quietly. I felt my heart pick up just a bit.

After Ominis had gone back inside, he told everyone that I had just a bit too much to drink. I waited a few minutes, wiping my face and making sure I had stopped crying just long enough for no one to see my red eyes before going back inside.
