Lily's pov ~
" I can hurt myself as much as I want maybe even kill myself..... "

I just sat there shocked I didn't think I would ever hear my best friend say those words in my life. "Luke, I thought you were happy, I thought you loved your life and wanted to enjoy even tho you had depression I thought you wanted to put that aside and just enjoys what's coming next" I said as I stare into his eyes, they don't have that sparkle anymore all I can see is fear and darkness. " that's the thing Lily, all I have been doing is trying to act happy like nothing can scare me but inside I'm scared... I'm scared that one day everyone is going to get up and leave me alone in the dark and I will have no one, I'll have no one to tell me everything's going to be alright or no ones going to comfort me on my down days I'm scared but if I die now than I don't have to worry about that I can be free from all my worries and regrets an-" " Luke please don't think like that we will always be here for you me, your mum, Beau and most importantly Jai he cares about you so much he even asks me for advice on how to be a good brother but all I say is ' you already are ' because he is and I can tell you guys have a special bond between you and no one will ever have the bravery to break you apart because they can see that you guys care for each other, Jai is going crazy looking for you when I left he was crying his eyes out Luke he needs you here now" I looked at him waiting for him to say something just one thing. " please let me talk to Jai " I nodded and ran as fast as I can back to where I last was, where Jai is.
I walked into the brooks household and saw a very worried and upset Jai sitting on the sofa with is mother trying to comfort him but He just shrugged her off. When I closed the door all eyes where on me Jai got up and ran over to me. " Have you found him " he asked, I nodded " omg where is he " "he's at the local park he wants to talk to you Jai just you but please go easy on him no shouting or yelling at him he is really down but he will tell you about that when you get there, he need someone who cares about him you need to show him you care about him so much" I said to Jai as I chucked him his coat. " I do care about him " " I know and he cares about you now hurry up he needs you "
Jai's pov ~
I ran as fast as I can to the local park and saw Luke sitting on the bench looking pale I could see his bloodshot eyes from here I called his name but received no response I tried again and finally he heard me and his head shot up and looked directly at me.
" LUKE THERE YOU ARE" I ran over to him and pulled him into a tight hug.
"I was so worried about you where the fuck where you?" "Sorry Jai I just needed some air" I stared into his eyes and all I could see was pain and fear, this isn't my brother, this isn't the person I see everyday....... This isn't my twin. " I know Luke I understand " we sat there in silence but it wasn't an uncomfortable silence it was a nice silence. "Hey Jai" I look up and see tears in his eyes "Yeh" I said and turned to him, "I'm really sorry for everything" "Luke there's nothing to be sorry about" I said "yes there is, I have been such a bad brother, I always let you down when your always trying to help me and it's all my fault that mum and Beau never care about us" "Hey Hey Hey Luke that's not true you are the best brother ever your basically my only brother even tho we have Beau he doesn't care about us and that's not your fault it's no ones fault Luke I care about you and You never let me down your always there for me just like I'm there for you ok we only have each other and I will never leave you" I said as tears starting forming in my eyes "I love you Jai" "i love you too Luke..... Tell you won't we should go walk around maybe get some maccas ( A/N I'm English and I know that's an Australian word for Mc Dolands I think 😂 ) we don't have to go back straight away" "that sounds good". We start walking to the park gate and make our way to maccas and that's when disaster struck.........
