5:36pm. The sun begins to set as the group continued to stumble along for what felt like hours without making any progress at all. No matter what direction they traveled, they ended up somewhere they had already been. It was as if they were in a forest that was trying to keep them trapped in an endless cycle of confusion and repetition.
Alex let out an irritated sigh, "UGH! I can't go on!"
Sasha glanced over at them, "We're just going in circles. We must have been through this same area multiple times already."
"Isaac's house must be somewhere!" Xander exclaimed in frustration, "We can't just keep going in circles forever!"
Flake pointed to a modern, normal house in the distance with a name tag on the right that read "Isaac".
Xander jumped in excitement, "Yes! Finally we've found my Pookies house!"
The group approached the house with renewed hope and anticipation, ready to finally escape this bizarre and disorienting place.
"Finally.. woah, this looks.. WHAT?!?! No way this is Isaac's home."
The group was stunned and taken aback when they saw the house up closone of them exclaimed, in awe and disbelief. It was a modern, perfectly normal house on the outside, but inside.. it looked bizarre.
"Aren't we supposed to go to Rhian's house first?" Rui said in confusion, raising an eyebrow as they approached the modern, looking house. Sasha shrugged in response, clearly just as puzzled and unsure.
"WAIT! Since when did you-" Starry started, suddenly realizing something. They paused and shook their head, as if trying to dismiss the thought.
"Nevermind," Starry finished with an amused chuckle, unable to hide their confusion and bewilderment.
It's not entirely clear what exactly they were referring to, but it's clear that whatever it is, it caught Starry off guard and left them baffled.
"I kinda get Starry," Flake says with a nervous grin, "Rui suddenly crept up on us."
"Indeed, but at least, like, the more the merrier?" Mana says with a wide eyed smile, trying to hide her confusion.
"Eyy, don't worry, darlin', I'm here..." Valerie says with a flirty wink.
"Ew, no," Mana replied with a disgusted look, clearly not enjoying the attention.
"Alright... let's go investigate. Isaac MUST just be playing games, right?" Xander says with a nervous chuckle, trying to make himself believe that it's all just a joke.
"HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW?! YOU GUYS ARE DATIN'!" Alex says with a frown, not buying Xander's attempt at reassurance.
The group reluctantly nods their heads, not entirely convinced by Xander's reasoning but unsure of what else to do. They cautiously approach the house with trepidation.
Creak..
"Isaac...?" Xander calls out in a rasp whisper, worried.
"This place has an eerie kind of vibe." Mana says, as the others nod in agreement, also feeling some unease.
