chapter 11: tv (loki loud)

"it's almost 8 pm, are you sure we're gonna make it to your tv once our show started?" bonnie groaned. her head at the edge of linka's bed, looking at her best friend making a plan.

"yeeeep! i have a plan." linka said confidently and looked back at her best friend, bonnie.

"make sure this plan ACTUALLY works, or i'm going back home." bonnie said while finishing the last coat of nail polish on her nails, she looked proudly down on her new pink nails.

"hey, come on! it's our first sleepover, we should enjoy this until you'd back out when you see my brother again." linka teased at her while bonnie hit her slightly.

"hey! i'm already ashamed okay?" she pouted.

"hehe, i just like teasing you! you and your huge crush on on my brother!"

bonnie rolled her eyes at linka, "okay okay, what's your plan anyways? it's already 7:35 pm"

"right." she said and told her plan back to back to bonnie and she just nodded.

"ok got it. but how about your younger brothers?"

"easy, mom and dad changed their bedtime to 8pm. so we only need to distract 5 older brothers."

"right, but i'm not going near loki alright?" linka laughed at bonnie and nodded.

the both of them looked at the clock and see that it's already 7:50 pm.

"okay it's game time!" linka and bonnie both fist bumped before going out of linka's room.

not even a minute later, lynn was already out of his room.

"wooh! 10 minutes till the game time!" linka looked at bonnie and she sighed, already going to lynn.

"hey, lynn!"

"oh, what's up kid? didn't know you we're spending the night here." lynn winked at her and bonnie contained at the urge of rolling her eyes at him and gave a big smile.

"yeah right. i just wanted to ask if you're up to a game of football! eh??" she smiled cutely at lynn.

lynn smirked at bonnie "i get that you wanna spend time with me, but i have a game to watch-"

"but it's filled with helium! orrr are you just scared you'll lose to me?" bonnie said confidently, throwing the ball up in the air.

"you're on!" lynn said competitively and bonnie threw the ball to his room and closed the door on him.

"okay, one brother out!" linka gave a high-five to bonnie.

loni walked out of his room calmly and linka was already in action.

"oh my gosh loni, is that a- a spider on you?!"

loni screamed out loud, "WHERE?! GET IT OFF ME!" he went back to his room and bonnie and linka smiled.

the both of them went down the stairs and saw lane at the top of the stairs.

"hey little sister!" he said before noticing bonnie. "oh mcbride! you're here too huh? i hope you guys weren't about to watch tv eh? because i wouldn't miss my show for nothin'! " he patted bonnie's hair before walking up to the couch.

"ya might wanna check on mrs. coconuts though." bonnie laughed at linka and lane stopped and slowly turned over to see charles, their pet dog, has mrs. coconuts on its mouth.

lane looked in horror and ran to charles. "charles! put it down- bad dog! argh! come back!" he chased charles around the house and linka and bonnie laughed at the scene.

at the moment, luke walked out of the kitchen and saw no one at the couch. "sick, almost time for the live concert."

"hey luke! look what bonnie brought over today." the step aside and showed what's behind them. "dude, a 30W bass amplifier?? that's wicked, bonnie!" he gave her a kiss on the cheek and bonnie was quick enough to wipe the kiss of her.

luke quickly went up to his room with the amplifier and shut his door.

"well, that's the last brother!" bonnie said.

"it pays to have a plan, bonnie." she says proudly and walked over to the tv.

before walking over to the tv, loki walked past them and already got the remote before linka and bonnie did.

"NOOOOOOOO!" linka screamed dramatically at loki while he had that cocky smile. bonnie just froze on her place.

"too late lil girls, i'm the oldest so i'm the one who'll watch tv tonight." loki said, his legs spreading while he sat down on the couch and the remote on his one hand.

"come on, loki! me and bonnie have been wanting to watch this together." linka pouted while bonnie stayed quiet and looked down on her feet. obviously shy when loki is infront of her.

"hmm, i might think about it if cute lil bonnie here asked me to." loki looked at bonnie and she quickly avoided his stare.

"y'know bonnie physically can't loki! come onnn just give us the remote!"

he didn't say anything and continued to look at bonnie with a daze stare, waiting for bonnie to say something.

"..fine." bonnie mumbled quietly before squeezing her eyes shut and took a deep breathe. "can we watch the tv, loki?" she said without even looking at him.

he titled his head at her and grinned a bit, lifting her chin up to make her look at him. "what's the magic word?" he teased her again. "c'mon bonnie, don't be shyyyy"

bonnie mentally rolled her eyes at how he had this much of an effect on her, her face is practically a tomato! "can we please watch the tv, loki? just this time.. please???"

"atta girl." loki smiled in satisfaction and threw the remote to linka. "well- enjoy the night then!" he stood up from the couch and winked at bonnie playfully before walking away to his room.

bonnie is just lost for words. she took the pillow and covered it with her face while linka smiled at her. "i swear this is the last time i'm sleeping over here" bonnie groaned, she could feel her heartbeat going fast.

"hey, i think you did good? just try not to pass out while we're watching our show, kay?" linka sat down on the couch excitedly and turned on the tv to their channel.

"i'll try." bonnie held her chest to calm her heart down.
