Elisa Rose and Oliver

After blowing out his birthday candles, Nakuru chuckled as the family clapped and cheered for little Nakuru.

He chuckled a little while feeling happy.

Sonic asked, "So what did you wish for son?"

Nakuru replied, "Can't tell you Dad. It may not come true."

Sonic groaned playfully and said, "Oh Nakuru."

Izumi laughed playfully before she said, "Oh and Sonic? Would you mind running a few errands?"

Sonic nodded and asked Nakuru if he wanted to come with.

He immediately said yes. That's when Sonic grabbed his cloak and walked out with the birthday boy.

Izumi then turns to J.B. and said, "Pretty soon your going to be 1. Yes you are."

J.B. giggled while cooing.

<meanwhile>

In the Persephone-ridge market 'which is filled with not so many crowds but great price range stands' Sonic and Nakuru were looking around for the fruits and veggies stand.

Sonic looks at a playground nearby the market before he said to Nakuru, "I'm going to buy a few items for Aunt Izumi. I won't be long. You mind going to play?"

Nakuru answered, "I don't mind Dad." He went over to the playground while Sonic went over to the stands.

While there, Nakuru was playing around the jungle-gym, minding his own business. He laughed a little before going to the swings.

Before he could set foot there however, he bumped into a young girl hedgehog 'who bored a lot of resemblance to Amy and Shadow but with hot pink eyes'.

The young girls voice said, "Hey watch it you..." she trailed off as Nakuru looked at her.

The young girl was a little surprised before she said, "Oh sorry."

Nakuru replied as he helped her up, "It-it's no problem."

Then 'on cue' a hedgehog boy 'who bore half a resemblance to Silver The Hedgehog' runs to her.

He turns to Nakuru and asked, "What the heck are you?"

The hedgehog girl punched him in the face and said, "That was rude Oliver."

The hedgehog boy 'Oliver' said, "Ouch. That hurt Elisa."

Elisa replied angrily, "Well you shouldn't be rude and question another's appearance."

Nakuru walked to the swings. But that's when Oliver and Elisa caught up to him as she said, "Wait!"

Nakuru waited before Elisa said, "Sorry about that. Oliver's so judgmental sometimes."

Oliver protested, "No I'm not."

Elisa replied, "Yes you are."

Nakuru then said, "It-it's fine I don't talk to other kids often. Except my little sister."

Oliver raised a brow and asked, "A sister?"

Nakuru nodded before Elisa said with a smile, "You're one interesting kid. My names Elisa Rose. What's yours?"

Nakuru hesitated before he said, "I-I'm Nakuru."

Oliver raised a brow and said, "Nakuru huh? Interesting name. Is it tradition?"

Nakuru replied, "N-no, I'm just named after someone my Dad liked."

Elisa replied, "Oh, that explains. Must've been sweet to be named after someone important."

Nakuru nodded before he sat on one of the swings. Elisa next to him as Oliver sat next to Elisa.

The three got to know each other for a little bit. Nakuru asked, "So you only lived with your Dad Oliver?"

Oliver replied to him, "Yeah. My Mum left and never came back. It's been me and my father ever since. He's a psychic. He can move stuff with his mind."

Elisa chuckle and said, "Please. You should my Dad. He's the ultimate Lifeform. What about yours Nakuru?"

Nakuru hesitated before he said, "He's fast. Kinda like me or like my sister 'J.B.'"

The two hedgehogs immediately think this kid is interesting. Though Elisa 'finds him more cute strangely deep down'.

Elisa asked, "So whatcha doing with your father?"

Nakuru answered her, "We're just doin some errands for my Grand-Aunt. Also todays my birthday."

Elisa replied happily, "Oh, happy birthday." She giggled happily.

That's when Nakuru heard his father said, "Nakuru! We're going."

Nakuru shouted back, "I'll be right there Dad."

Nakuru turns to the two and said, "Uhh... It was nice meeting you both."

That's when he speeds to his Father 'which amazed Elisa and Oliver'.

Sonic and Nakuru went back home.

Oliver said with amazement and surprise, "Whoa. That Nakuru wasn't kidding around. He can run fast."

Elisa replied, "He's like us. Amazing. I like it. Maybe we should ask him to be our friend."

Oliver said 'with uneasiness', "I dunno Elisa. You know how your Dad is with you being friends other boys besides me."

Elisa protested childishly, "Oh he's just treating me like I can't make friends with other kids besides girls."

Oliver muttered under his breath while rolling his eyes, "Oh brother.."
