Iced is teaching a class about the Universe while Team RWBY, JNPR, Sun, Aston, Gore, Max, Quaza, and Tony are being given Iced's knowledge.
Iced: So when we talk about Universes, we are usually referring to the twelve known Universes totally distinct from ours, the seventh. When we talk about timelines however, we're referring to alternate histories within our universal framework. Now these distinctions do tend to get confusing, especially when talking about parallel or alternate timelines or universes, but we need to keep our definitions clear on this subject.
Iced sees Weiss' hand raise and calls on her.
Iced: Yes, Weiss?
Weiss: Yes, what is Universe 13 then?
Iced: Ah, well I'm glad you asked. Universe 13 is a misnomer to describe what is truthfully an alternate timeline to our own universe, splitting off somewhere after Frieza's destruction of Planet Vegeta, but before his defeat on the Planet Namek.
Tony: Yeah! Because I f**king killed him!
Blake: Ba- I mean, Tony. Language in the classroom, please.
Ruby: Wait, why are you helping Iced teach this to us? And why do you have glasses?
Blake: I started to read books about all this stuff and decided to show my skills in the academy as a teacher. And hey, these glasses look good on me.
Tony: DAMN RIGHT!
Iced: Anyway, yes, for some reason a change must have occurred in time which allowed Tony to avoid being killed by Frieza which as far as we can tell occurred in every other known timeline, and instead killing Frieza from Universe 13, and to go on to become ruler of the universe himself, before his and our eventual enrollment into the Time Patrol.
Tony/Quaza: Kidnapping!
Max: So, where does Antony fit into all of this?
Iced: Blake?
Blake: Yes. Well, assuming he really is some alternate version of Tony it's possible he's the product of a previously undetected split from the original split which produced our Tony. Though it's hard to tell if his "branch of time" if you will, stems later or earlier and thus makes the term of his own exact history difficult and therefore his agenda even harder.
Tony: Hey, I got a question, Babe. Why do we need to take these classes? Isn't saving the space time continuum once enough already?
Blake: Because you need to get through these to become fully enrolled again. Sorry, Babe.
Tony: Oh, oh, alright then. Alright, sure, not like I wrote the textbook on this or anything. Okay, fine. In that case I got another question. *clears throat* WHAT'S WITH THIS GOLD ICED, HMM?!
Blake: Here we go...
Quaza: God dammit...!
Iced: Tony, I wasn't trying--
Tony: NO! No. I had one cool thing! First, Frieza tries to take it from me, then Quaza, THEN YOU! Right after you found out I can't transform anymore, you be pulling out the Golden Form Guard!
Iced: Tony, I wasn't trying to--
Tony: NO! No. Um... F**k it! I'm gonna go hang out with Trunks!
Jaune: Don't you hate Trunks?
