Day 21 of Christmas

Era la nit abans de Nadal, quan per tot Barcelona, Riqui and his girlfriend, Y/n, were feeling the festive spirit. With snowflakes gently falling, they hatched a plan to give their families the most memorable Christmas gift ever - the news of a new addition to the family. They had known for quite some time but they knew that they wanted to share the news when they both returned from LA.

As Riqui and Y/n cozied up by the fireplace, sipping on their hot chocolate, Riqui couldn't help but smile. "Imagine the joy on their faces when they find out about the little one." hH said, his eyes filled with excitement.

Y/n chuckled. "It's going to be the best Christmas surprise ever. I can already picture the happiness in their eyes." The couple spent days crafting the perfect announcement, deciding to reveal the news on Christmas Eve. They prepared personalized LA Galaxy jerseys, with 'Papa 6' on the back and wrapped in festive paper, with a note that read, 'Coming soon, our little Christmas miracle'.

Although they were excited, they couldn't help but feel the nerves kick in. Yes, they were young but they both had stable income so they were financially ready to have a baby. And their relationship wasn't on the rocks either, so they were ready to both be loving parents. The problem lay with the uncertainty of the family response. While Riqui's family would be overjoyed and supportive regardless, Y/n couldn't help but feel nervous about what her family would think. They had only been dating under a year, but they both just loved eachother too much and this addition addition the family would be a statement to the fans saying relationship would fail.

On the much-anticipated evening, surrounded by the warmth of family, Riqui and Y/n exchanged knowing glances. The room buzzed with holiday cheer as they handed out carefully wrapped gifts to each family member. "Tenim un regal per a tu. El vam portar de LA." Riqui announced. Y/n simply sat beside her boyfriend as she awaited the response from the family surrounding them.

Riqui's sister, Charlotte unwrapped the tiny jersey, her eyes widening in disbelief. "Is this what I think it is?" she exclaimed, excitement bubbling over. Y/n and Riqui nodded, grinning. "Surprise! We're expecting a baby!" Riqui's brother and father engulfed him in a hug and danced around with him. His mother and sister went to Y/n and kissed her, congratulating her and hoping the best for them both. After a moment, Y/n looked over to her parents. Her mother was teary eyed and her father too. "You okay?" She asked. "I'm just so happy for you." Her mother cried as she stood up and went to hug her daughter. "So you're not mad?" Y/n asked in disbelief. "Of course not! I am so, so happy!"

She watched as her father walked over to Riqui and pulled him in for a hug and congratulating him. Then, the world must have paused because Riqui set his eyes on Y/n and simply smiled before walking over to her. And amidst the laughter and hugs, Riqui took a moment to hug his beloved girlfriend and whispered: "Best Christmas ever."

As the night unfolded with joyous celebrations, the families shared their excitement for the newest member on the way. It became a Christmas filled not only with festive decorations and delicious treats but with the promise of a bright future for Riqui, Y/n, and their growing family.

And so, in the glow of Christmas lights and the love of their families, Riqui and Y/n welcomed the holiday season with open hearts, grateful for the magic that a little one would bring to their lives.
