𝐌𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐑 .....

Akira was walking at the sidewalk alone as she was looking at the exam papers marked with the number 100. She stares at it for a long time until she folded it up and puts it in her pocket. As the girl passed by the park, she felt nothing. The beautiful flowers, the warm sunshine, the playful children - all of it was just white noise in her mind. She saw people walking, laughing, talking - but none of it mattered to her. She had no emotions, no feelings, no connection to the world. It was as if she was just going through the motions, but her heart wasn't in it.

The beauty of the world was lost on her. She didn't see the rainbows in the sky, the stars twinkling at night, the colors of the autumn leaves. It was all just a blur of grey to her. Her mind was a blank slate, a void without any thoughts or emotions to fill it. She didn't know why she was like this, or what had caused her to be so broken. All she knew was that she was alone in a world that she didn't deserve to see. She knew that she's just a mere tool, not someone. A mere skill who must serve its master until death and yet she thought she failed.

How long has it been since I came to this world? 16 years? Why was I sent here? Why did I have to be separated from my host? How was I able to have a physical form? I'm just a skill...a skill created to help my host. Whenever I think of those, I would feel my chest becoming heavy. I don't know why. Do humans experience this all the time?

For many years, I have been trying to decode why it's always like this. When I thought I lost Rimuru-sama or when Toji didn't came back as he promised, I always have this uneasy feeling. When Tsumiki was hospitalized, I remember that water came out of my eyes. I thought that this body was broken but I later on knew that it was just tears. I don't know... I haven't experience that before.

When I met Rimuru-sama in my dreams, I knew that he was also in this world. He's somewhere around here. I can feel his presence but it's so faint. I sat down the bench waiting for Gojo to pick me up, since he told me to wait for him. I don't want to but he said he'll be buying some food.... I was scrolling through my phone watching TokTok when I felt someone's eyes on me. I looked directly at the person who was standing in front of me. He was across the other side standing beside the post and he kept looking at me with his deadpanned eyes. Is he thinking of harming me?.....

"Yep

"Yep. I've found the other one at last...", the man muttered as he formed a smile. I was a little confused by what he said and I decided to ignore him and yet he kept staring at me.

" Great Sage, right?", he continued while he began to fiddle with his pendant. This made me feel uneasy but I still chose to ignore him waiting for the man to say more.
