The confession

My friends pushed me to the parking lot
Where you were standing
I saw you staring at the rusty leaves
I wonder if you like them
My face flushed from embarrassment
When you saw me with the corner of your eyes
I swear I would have melted
If you looked at me any longer
And there you smiled
Your lips curved like a crescent moon
In your eyes, I saw the world I admired
I stood there dazed
How can you be any more perfect than you are
I left this world for sometime
My soul flying high
I wanted to stay and make the time stop
But I had things to say
You had things you had to know
"Can we talk?" I finally said
My cheeks were burning
My heart caught fire
Mmh was all you said
And there I told you that one story
I've been telling all my friends
Without any pause
Without any distraction
We both stood still
Under that rusty tree
You were stuck with awe
You wanted to go but your legs didn't move
The Zephyr whispered something in your flushed ears
It was the start of something new
I was going to turn your world upside down
You stood there dazed
With your lips shaped like a crescent moon
And I stood there like the lake
Catching a glimpse of your crescent shaped moon
I danced all night that day
With my waves reaching to you
My story merry to your ears
And I'm the flower which bloomed only for you
