We may not last forever
Yes we both are so transient
Our hearts and the love we call eternity
Who knows, it may not last forever
Everything that begins has to meet its end
Everything that rises has to fall one day
We, who thought of creating an exception
But now I have come to believe that
We may not last forever
Call it hopeless if you like
Call it overthinking if you want
But right now my thoughts are at their peak
They may not be able to get through
Yes nothing lasts forever
We too are the humans
We live and one day we die
We laugh and one day we cry
Today we love and we may hate another day
I don't want our hearts to be broken
Like the ones who give their all
To someone and something they call love
And when they fall apart
All they get is a wound that can never be cured
A hollow soul, which cannot understand the world anymore
I don't want this for us
I really don't want this for us
I have seen seasons changing
I have seen people changing
Who knows what may happen to you and I
We are unlike them
We are wiser
We won't give our everything to something and someone
We may not last forever
So we'll be cautious
For our hearts are not to break
Call it hopeless if you want
But I can't take any risks
Because I have seen people break
And jumping off from the roof
Hanging themselves
Taking sleeping pills
I don't want this for us
Never in this life time
