Zelina smiles seeing a few texts from you after training and having her match against Iyo Sky and segments with LWO but her smile disappears seeing the last two texts you had sent twenty minutes earlier. For you the day had been completely shitty and things had only gotten worse as the day went on wishing that zelina was home instead of on the road wrestling only wanting to be held in her arms when you got home, she calls you after walking away from everyone in Carlito's locker room sighing when you don't answer calling back again deciding to leave you a voicemail then heading back to everyone making jokes in between sips of drinks, you came home from work and running many errands groaning as you lay on your bed after taking your shoes off checking your calls and messages on your phone seeing a few from your mom or siblings along with random numbers that were miss dialed or scams until you see that zelina had called you twice while you were grocery shopping and dropping some money off to your aunt seeing a voicemail she left not expecting what you would hear as you press the play and speaker button. "Hey bebe, I know you want me to be there so your day won't be as shitty and god do I wish I could hold you and be home but I want you to know that you are my sunshine and I love you so much more than you could ever know and as soon as I get home even if I'm sweaty or you're better I'm still going to hold you until I am gone again" your heart swells hearing the message texting her before hopping in the shower washing away the stress of the day off and eating ramen before checking your phone again smiling at the text she sends back before calling each other until the two of you went to bed, you wake up the next morning to the smell of your dragon fruit candle and a hand running along your shoulder smiling when you turn to see zelina behind you in bed immediately being wrapped in her arms like she had promised you before sharing a gentle kiss as you turn to putty in her arms.
