Enough

You walked in only to see Dom sitting on the floor with his head on his knees feeling your heart break at the sniffles that break through the quiet. You walk to him slowly your heart dropping to your feet at the look on his face when he looks at you as you crouch in front of him "What's wrong baby?" he shakes his head before crying again slowly pulling him to you "I am not good enough...I need to be better" you feel the words stab you in the heart deeply and how truly broken he was as he spoke to you "Honey why are you saying these things?" you gently grab his face pulling it to look at you "I tried with everything in me to win this match and my dad yelled at me after...said i wasn't good enough and that my best needed to-" you feel tears brim in your eyes and your blood swell with a bit of anger "He said that?! What the hell!" he wraps his arm around you tightly knowing you would either call or go to his parents house full of anger by what he had just told you about the words told to him in a moment of frustration "Woah woah sweetheart...calm down he didn't mean it". You sigh as you hold him tightly still hearing the sobs and sniffles that pour from him as his head lays over your heart slowly calming down listening to your comforting heartbeat against his ear while you gently run your finger over his scalp that would make him fall asleep when he was exhausted from training and matches, "Love you are more than good enough, you are the most selfless, kindest, big hearted, compassionate, strong, hard working, smartest, and sweetest human being I have ever met and know but you know what you also are" he looks up at you and the way his eyes sweetly look at you always makes your heart flutter and skip a beat at the same time "What's that mi vida?" you grab and intertwine your hands together as you smile big "You are the truest, honest, and real man I have ever met, you are the love of my life, and you have taught me love in such a raw, emotional, vulnerable, honest, human, and sweetest way that I never knew could exist in this world and especially would ever come and be in my life" he feels his heart melt, flutter, and shake erratically in the purest and emotional way possible moving up as you wipe tears that started flowing down your face. "Aww mi bebita don't cry it hurts my heart when you cry" you giggle as he wipes your cheek with his thumb "I love you mi todo" you always melt when he spoke Spanish to you even though you didn't know much of what he said around or to you, he and his family along with some of your newfound and shared friends taught you especially learning in secret from his mom what the sweet names he called you were and you smile even bigger hearing the name he just called you "I love you my sweet dear" both of you lightly laughing before he gently lifted your chin kissing each other full of vulnerability, gratitude, emotions, and love before he stripped down to his boxers and you put on one of his shirts over a pair of shorts and tangling yourselves around each other in the peaceful quiet that washes over the two of you while laying in bed running your fingers through his hair while his caressed along your hip until you were both asleep not knowing that when he woke up a few hours later smiled bigger than he had in awhile realizing earlier as he feels the same comfort and safety washing over him that he was good enough just as he was no matter what.
