The Chatterwrites

The winter weave of snow and ice
Cold outside, so I'll think twice
Before I open door and venture
Through the trees to nestled town

But there's a tavern there I know
Where warm fire sparks
And faces glow
Christmas spirit
In abundance
Sharing tales
Festive indulgence

The Chatterwrites are in full flow
Rhyming words like mistletoe
All good friends their glasses chime
They celebrate the best of times

Here there's shelter from the cold
Swapping stories, first time told
Endless possibilities
Thread toward epiphanies

Joy of words and celebration
Rejoice, the pen of new creations
