~Lost And Found~ Bucky Barnes

HAUNTING PAST

The battle between the Avengers and Hydra kept on going. The citizens running away from the city to find somewhere safe to hide. Meanwhile Bucky tried his best to calm Emma down but to no avail and Tony had one solution.
"Bruce you know what to do"
Tony said as he kept shooting at the enemy
"But wasn't it for Bucky?"
Bruce asked immediately knowing what Tony was thinking.
"They don't care about Bucky anymore...now just help us hold her"
Tony said as he flew in his suit to who knows where.
Bruce sighed as he closed his eyes ready to bring out the Hulk. In a matter of seconds he was able to transform. He roared loudly and ran towards Emma throwing any one who stood on his way.
Bucky say him coming but before he could do anything Steve pulled him away from the Hulk.
The Hulk immediately fought Emma and she stood no chance with him. Something immediately hit her neck....a syringe..... Before Emma knew what way happening..... Her vision became blurry.... Then black.

Hydra saw what was happening and immediately ran away from the battle ground leaving the Avengers with an unconscious Emma.

Emma's POV
My heard was aching......it hurts so badly that I could barely move. I couldn't remember what happened.....the last thing I remembered was being in the Hydra's basement... being tortured...I opened my eyes slowly finding myself in a bright room. I slowly got trying to ignore the pain in my head. As I got up from my laying position, I sat down on the bed but around the room were some agents.
"Don't worry....Fury said it's for security"

I slowly turned my head and saw Bucky on a chair smiling at me.....a weak smile I might say
"Security? Did I kill anyone??"
I asked worried and scared that I hurt someone
"You didn't Emma..... let's just say hurt.... it's been almost a day since we tried to save you" Bucky said but this time without the smile. I sighed and lay back on the bed tired.
"I failed...."
"No Bucky you didn't....you didn't fail....it wasn't your fault" I said trying to stop him from putting the blame on himself.
"Yes it was! You saved my life..and I vowed to myself to protect you at all cost but I didn't"
He said getting up as he came to sit near me. I sighed closing my eyes tired and stressed to have a discussion right now.

Third Pov
"Time's up Barnes.... It's time for her to rest and recover quickly" Maria said as she walked in.... Bucky sighed in frustration but didn't argue...
"See you later" Bucky said to Emma but received no answer.
He got up with sadness all over his face and walked away from her room. Maria followed him and locked the door leaving Emma all alone in her room.

"Wait a minute, you're trying to tell me that Hydra escaped!?" Fury asked in frustration. The Avengers nodded to him.
Fury sighed as he looked outside the window.
"Well it is what it is....we all a fully prepared for them to come again..." Steve said earning a nod from Thor.

Weeks later Emma was discharged but put in a cell for safety like Fury said....They still needed to see if she still would have a reaction if the trigger words were to be spoken.
Bucky went everyday to see her.... Morning, Evening and Night.
In the Afternoon Bucky had training with Steve.

One night came.....and the Avengers together with the SHIELD agents were woken up by a loud scream. Everyone got ready and immediately went to were the noise was coming from and they went downstairs to were the cells are and they found Emma screaming and her hands stained with blood.....and one of the agents dead on the floor in the cell. The agents immediately bathed in and helped her down giving her an injection to keep her calm. They took the dead body away while the Avengers looked ta eachother questioning what was happening to her.

In the morning Bucky went to visit Emma but Steve stopped him
"Bucky.....you can't go in there now...it has been locked"
Bucky frowned as he went to the hall to see everyone gathered
"Why the hell is it locked!?" Bucky questioned in anger
"Because that girl killed an armed agent with her bare hands!" Tony answered with a frustrated tone.
Bucky rolls his eyes as he sat down close to Steve.
"Tony have you found anything in the CCTV camera?" Clint asked
"Well yes...she was just sleeping and started screaming then an agent arrived to calm her down but she killed him....and kept screaming wanting to leave the cell...." Tony explained briefly
The Avengers were silent not sure on what to do.

"What if it's something that is disturbing her...or what if she is being controlled by Hydra" Bruce questioned
"But she's no longer under Hydra control" Thor answers
"Well that what we think...what if the planted a device in her controlling her or another option can be her past"
Bruce explained
"Well I think it can be both......"
Bucky said earning everyone's attention
"One day when we were escaping Hydra...in the car I asked about her past ...her life....but she said it's something that shouldn't be said and that it is kind of traumatic and mostly those who work in hydra has a difficult past"
Bucky explained

"What if Hydra is still controlling her and making her feel guilt about her past reminding her of all the trauma" Fury said walking in with Maria
"We found something about her" Maria added with a worried expression
