On the day when school started, Mika and Charlotte were walking together, happily. They entered the school doors and then they realised that there was a new girl who was walking on the smooth floor of the school. She had short black hair, just like Mika's but it was more smooth and silky. Charlotte stared at her and decided to approach the new girl. Mika hesitated when she noticed that her best friend wanted to meet her. But then she gave in and hurried along with Charlotte. "Hi! My name's Charlotte and this is my friend Mika. Nice to meet you!" Charlotte held out her hand. Mika smiled sweetly at the girl but she gave her a not-so-happy look. "Why is she copying my hairstyle!?" Mika walked back. Charlotte looked at her which meant that everything is okay. Mika went closer. "The name's Julie, short for Juliet!" Charlotte giggled. "So are you here to find your Romeo?" Julie looked at Charlotte in a confused way.

"What's a Romeo?" Julie asked. "Well, a Romeo is someone in a play written by William Shakespeare. So he is like...um... How do I put this together?" Mika then said to Charlotte, "He's a character on the play. Juliet is the female and both of them find true love". Julie was very impressed. Then she took Charlotte's arm and dragged her to her locker (Mika thought that it was strange that she knew where her locker was) and then whispered to her, "Do you want to play with me at lunch time and recess? Will you be my friend forever?"

Charlotte didn't want the poor girl to be lonely, so she said yes. Charlotte looked at Mika and mouthed to her, "Mika, I promise you that I can play with you one day" Mika nodded.

"One day..." She mumbled to herself and sadly walked out of the area, holding her books and putting them carefully in her locker.

The school bell rang and Charlotte and Julie looked up away from each other and walked in the school halls like fashion stars. Their hips went side-to-side. Even though Charlotte never understood how to do the cat walk, she copied Julie and did it very well for a beginner. Other girls joined in and Charlotte felt even more special and important. She has never felt like this before and she would never forget it. Mika was hiding in the shadows, crying and her best friend never even noticed...
