Chapter 6

"Yuuki's POV"

It has been 6 months since Legacy and I have mated. We have only told her pack and my family. My daughter, Zada, was weary at first since her friend, Myra and I have mates that bare the same name. The only difference between them is that my mate is a werewolf and Myra's mate is a human. But, all that aside, Legacy has asked me to marry her. I was overjoyed and I accepted wholeheartedly. I had waited so long for that moment and if she hadn't asked me, I would have asked her. I love Legacy so much and I was ready and willing to spend the rest of my life with her. A lot has changed around my kingdom though. After being defeated by me, my cousin, Ida, sent herself back in time with what little power she had left, to the time before she met my first ancestor, Nehelenia's husband to be, when they were still engaged to be married in a political marriage, and changed her future and made it so that the curse she cast never happened. Everyone I lost under the curse is now longer dead. My older sister, Seiya and my older twin brother, Akito have been returned to me. Out of all 14 of my siblings, they are the ones I loved the most. Seiya was like a mother to me after our mother died and Akito was always by my side and he shared the duties as head of the Soma Family with me and was someone I could talk to and he was my best friend and now that they are back, I have never been happier. Well, since I met Legacy of course. My family is now complete. I walk to my chambers where I dress in a long flowing blue dress with a long silk train of the same color and I go to the throne room where Legacy is waiting for me. I walk into the throne room and ascend to my throne and sit down as Legacy sits down in the throne next to me and I nod to Dahlila to let the nuns enter. The mother abbess and three young nuns enter the throne room and one of them is carrying a small bundle of blankets. The mother abbess and the three nuns kneel when they stop in from of the throne. "Your Majesty, I have brought the young Princess as you have requested." the mother abbess states. I motion for them to rise, which they do and I address them. "Mother Abbess, I thank you for caring for my granddaughter. I will make a large donation to the Convent as a thank you. How are the orphans, Mother Abbess?" "They are well, Your Majesty. Thanks to your generous donations, they are all well fed and well clothed. They donation you made last year went to insulate the buildings so they were all warm during this last winter. Several of our children have been adopted into good families in the last 6 months and we hope to adopt out more very soon." the mother abbess finishes. I nod my head approvingly. "Well done, Mother Abbess. I have always known you to have a good sense of people." I rise from my throne and walk down to the nun who is holding Wynter and take her from the nun. I do the ceremonial release and farewell with the nuns and they leave. I walk over to my mate and kiss her as she looks at our granddaughter with a loving smile. We walk to the memorial garden where Seiya and her daughter, Ameila and her husband are. Ameila was taken during a raid when I was away and couldn't protect her. I had made a promise to Seiya before she died that I would always protect Ameila and I broke that promise all because of my stupid pride. Ameila's husband, Kyouya, was devastated at her loss and gave their daughter, Wynter, to me to take care of. I can't blame him. He loves Ameila so much. Her loss hit him the most. Legacy and I walk into the Memorial Garden and make our presence known. "Mother!! There you are!!! I've been looking for you." Ameila runs over to me and wraps her arms around my waist. I lean down and hug her. "I had some things I had to do, dear one. Here, I've brought someone for you to see. This is your daughter, Wynter. Kyouya gave her to me to care for after you died." Ameila looks at her daughter and tears begin to fall from her eyes. "She's so beautiful. She looks like your, Mother." Yes, Ameila still calls me mother even though her birth mother is alive again. I don't mind though. Seiya doesn't either. She understands why Ameila calls me mother. "I think she looks like Seiya. That black glossy hair, black eyes and that palish yellow skin." Kyouya has a good point. I walk over to Kyouya and pull him into a hug. "It's good to see you, Kyouya. How have you been? I haven't heard from you since the ceremony." Kyouya looks at me and then says, "I've been ok, I guess. Losing Ameila wasn't easy and now that she is back, I am doing much better. I'm just so happy that Ameila is back. I won't ever let her go again." Ameila walks over to Kyouya and I and Kyouya puts his arms around her and hugs her tightly then kisses her passionately on the lips. Then Kyouya walks over to me and pick up Wynter from my arms and kisses me on the cheek and then Ameila kisses me on the cheek and then they both head back to their castle.

Several Hours Later

A knock sounds on my door and in walks Legacy and Myra. I get up from my chaise and walk over to them and hug them both. "Myra, Legacy, I'm so glad to see you both. What's up?" Legacy puts out her hand to reveal a silver and ruby ring. An engagement ring. I shriek and hug them both. I show them my engagement ring that is the same colors but different style. " I'm so happy for you both. I'm also engaged to my mate too. She proposed to me when I got back from fighting Ida. I can't believe that all four of us are engaged at the same time. Now we can help each other plan the weddings. Legacy will be so happy to hear this too. My cousins, Takahiro and Victor, are also engaged too. I can't wait to call them and tell them the good news." I hug them both again before they leave to go back to the pack house. Legacy has truly blossomed since she met Myra. When I first met Legacy, she was a shy soft-spoken human albino that rejected Myra at first but was able to overcome all that and accept Myra and accept herself in the process. That will certainly be a story they tell their children and well, you know how it goes. Legacy walks into the room and kisses me before sitting down on the chaise beside me. "I just saw Myra and her mate leaving the palace. It's been a long time since I've seen either of them. How've they been?" I wrap my arms around Legacy's waist and say, "Well, they are good. They are getting married like we are." I watch as Legacy's face lights up like a christmas light. "That's fantastic, Yuuki!!! We can all help each other plan our weddings." "That's what I told them, Legacy and they seemed happy about it. We'll have some fun planning the weddings." Legacy laughs and agrees then kisses me passionately. She takes me over to my bed and pushes me down and makes love to me till the next morning.
