JK's POV:
I still can't believe that I was able to pull off this surprise wedding. Granted for a minute there I wasn't sure if we were going to make it to today. I am still kicking myself for inadvertently hurting Kaia.
Today was perfect. Kaia looked amazing in her dress. I smile down at her in my arms. Her head is resting on my chest as she's fast asleep. I kiss the top of her head. I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.

I am making breakfast the next morning. I decided to let Kaia sleep in still. She probably use the extra sleep. I know she hadn't been sleeping well lately. Granted I think part of that was my doing.
Grace and Gavin had to leave after the wedding last night. Kaia's dad has decided to live in Korea for the time being. With the pandemic going on he wants to be closer to his kids. I can't blame him. I don't know if I could be that far away from my kids for so many years.
Kaia was really excited when Jon said he was staying for a while. I hear footsteps getting closer and then tiny arms wrap around my waist.
"I was wondering where you disappeared too?" Kaia says in a sleepy voice.
"Sorry. You were sleeping so peacefully I didn't want to wake you up."
"It's okay. You are making it up to me with yummy breakfast anyways."
"You and your food."
"What you are a great cook?"
"So, I have been told. Go sit down and I'll bring over breakfast in a minute."
"Okay."
I hurry up to finish up breakfast. I call out as I walk over with our food, "Sorry to make you wait."
"It wasn't that long Kookie. Plus, your cooking is worth waiting for."
"I thought Jin's was."
She blushes, "Both of your food is worth waiting for."
I chuckle, "I was just teasing." I kiss the top of her head as I sit next to her at the table.
We eat in silence. I clean up after we eat and then take a shower.
"Kookie I'm going to head outside for a bit."
"Okay. I will come find you when I'm done."
After my shower I get changed and walk out to the living room. I look outside and don't see Kaia in the backyard. I look towards the boathouse and see her sitting in a chair. She has her headphones on. Means she's working on a song. I'll give her a little bit before I go out there.
Kaia's POV:
After breakfast I decided to head out to the boat house. I have an idea for a song that won't stop buzzing around in my head. I need to get it out so I don't lose it and then I can focus on spending time with my husband.
