JK's POV:

It's been a couple of days since Jon's funeral, watching Kaia be a shell of herself is killing me. The boys have noticed it but haven't wanted to bring it in front of her.

"We have to do something." Jimin says as he looks over at Kaia who's busing herself in the kitchen.

Since the boys have landed she has been making all the meals, kicked Ricky out of the kitchen. Even snapped at Jin and me when we tried to help her.

"She just has to work through it Jimin." Jin says.

"I know that but...she..." he sighs.

"It is hard to see." Tae adds.

Namjoon's phone rings and he leaves the living room to go answer it.

"JK how are you doing?" Hobi asks.

"This is the hardest thing to sit through. I want to help my wife, to protect her from this but I can't do a damn thing. I just have to sit by and watch her."

"I hope Moonie wakes up soon." Jin adds.

Heaving a sigh, "Me too. I don't think ia will survive if he doesn't make it."

I'm about to jump and help her carry the meat she is trying to carry to the smoker outside on the back deck but Ricky beats me too it.

"Alright Princess. I got this."

"But...."

"No buts I'm smoking the meat. You are off kitchen duty the rest of the day. No arguments. Out!"

Absent mindedly she leaves the kitchen and heads for the stairs. Not wanting to leave her alone I jump up and follow after her. She walks to the end of the hall on the second floor and opens the door next to Jon's office. Following her inside I see her just walking around the room and a sob falls from her when she stops at the dresser.

I walk up and wrap my arms around her waist from behind, "Baby."

She picks up the picture frame and lets her fingers run over the picture, "This was when he surprised me with a visit. It happened to be my first win on music bank. I told him he was my good luck charm so I told him that he had to be there for a performance after every album release. I knew he was super busy with work but he did it. He never let me down."

I spin her around so I can wrap her up better in my arms letting her head fall against my chest, "He never missed anything. If he couldn't physically be there he would watch it online. He would message staff to get it streamed to him."

"He was a great dad."

She doesn't respond just barriers her head deeper into me, we just stand there and I rub her back. Letting her let it all out. I know she hates being emotional in front of others.

She pulls away after a while, "I think I am going to take a nap."

"Do you want me to lay down with you?"
