Chapter III : Why In This World As This Person?

Winter, the second cold season Xander had experienced. The whole place outside was covered in white, snow continuously falling. He had just turned 2 years old 1 month ago. Xander was now able to talk more properly and stand and walk without falling every minute. During the long time, he met more butlers and maids, all which became warmer to Xander. They became more comfortable with him on each day. His little castle had only contained a number of servants, a total of 10 with his Nanny.

"Nana Mel!"

A child-like voice called out. Jumping around excitedly, his face was beaming with happiness. His eyes sparkled, this would be his first time going out in the snow. He wasn't able to do so the last time since he was too young, however, he managed to convince everyone to let him this year. Even being mentally 19 years old, added with his age in the past life, Xander couldn't stop being childish.

"Ofcourse, Young Master, after you finish your breakfast."

A sweet and gentle tone, Mel replied. Giggling at her master's cute reaction. She was the one who hesitated the most when Xander kept pestering everyone to let him play outside this winter. Xander nodded obediently, making Mel smile.

The Nanny kept adoring Xander, praising him as he tried his best to climb on the chair. Managing to, with her help, he then hurriedly ate his breakfast and drank his chocolate milk that was poured by Mel.

"Thank you, Nana Mel."

Xander flashed his wide teeth - a signature smile of his - to her as a gesture of gratitude. Mel was struck by a bright sun ray.

"Can I play now? Please please?"

Xander continued to ask with his puppy eyes, begging for her to let him. Mel sighed and nodded, earning a joyous celebration from the little boy. He then raised his hands as Mel put on his coat. Wrapped in thick clothing to protect him from the cold, he was like a puppy wrapped in a blanket burrito. He then walked fastly with Mel following him and warning him to not slip.

Minutes of walking, they then reached to a large glass door. Xander reached the doorknob but was too short, Mel then helped him open. Cold breeze greeting the two, the boy shivered but smiled. He then ran to the snow and happily played. Making one snowball, he threw it on her playfully. He then escaped and ran away laughing.

But, he got hit by a wall. Yet it was not so hard? Falling on the ground, fortunately saved by the mattress of snow. He rubbed his nose as Mel hurried to him.

"Young Master!"

She knelt down and checked up on Xander. The boy's eyes then moved to look at what he had just hit onto. A tall man, long dark blue hair with dark cold blue eyes staring at him with no emotion. Mel followed his line of sight and froze, she bowed her head.
