It's been a while since I've written a journal entry. Since it's Christmas Break for me, I had the opportunity and time to work on writing finally and God does it feel good. I honestly forgot that my journal entries existed for a moment.
During these days that I've been writing without having to worry about school work, I've been working on another book besides A Fairy Strange Encounter. And it feels like it's a sin to put so much effort into the other book than the one I've been thinking about since the start of the year. It's almost the end of the year and I haven't made any progress whatsoever. It wasn't like I had writer's block or something, no. If I did have writer's block, why would I resume writing during my break? It's because I'm prioritizing something else... and it feels so wrong. I'm aware of what I'm prioritizing yet I still continue to do nothing about it. And every time the realization hits me that you guys are waiting for the full release of A Fairy Strange Encounter, there is always a tinge of disappointment hitting me before I move on and do nothing, pretending as if the thought never crossed my mind.
I guess this is a sign of my growth that I don't wanna write fanfiction anymore. So, I've made up my mind: A Fairy Strange Encounter will be my last fanfiction. It's final. I've already moved on a long time ago... I just never fully embraced it until now.
