Chapter 18.

Jeongyeon woke up with a throbbing headache. Signing to herself she massaged her temples trying to ease the pain.

No matter how hard she tried she couldn't stop thinking about Nayeon. Jeongyeon knew she had to make things right or she wouldn't be able to live with herself.

She got up and ready for the day. Operation win Nayeon back was in progress. She had to try her hardest. She would not rest until Nayeon forgave her.

She drove to the nearest flower shop, buying the most expensive bouquet she could get her hands on, after successfully getting Nayeon the most beautiful flower bouquet she walked out smiling.

Arriving at Nayeons  apartment she stood outside the door practicing her lines. She took 3 deep breaths before raising her shaking hand and knocking on the door.

She wait a few seconds but there was no answer. She decided to knock again this time covering the peephole. She didn't want Nayeon to see that it was her assuming she wouldn't open the door.

"I'm coming" She heard her sweet voice echo from inside.

Jeongyeon grew stiff as she heard Nayeons footsteps running to the door.

"Sana i know it's you stop covering the pee-" Nayeon froze as she swiftly opened the door.

"Hey-" Jeongyeon was cut off as the door slammed in her face.

She sighed before knocking again.

"Nayeon baby please talk to me"

"Go away" Said Nayeons muffled voice

"Please baby just talk to me"

The door swiftly opened

"What do you want Jeongyeon" She crossed her arms waiting for Jeongyeons response.

"i got these for you, they reminded me of you" Jeongyeon handed her the flowers

She watched as Nayeons face softened but her tone was just as stern as before.

"Thank you" was all she mumbled before trying to close the door once again.

"Nayeon wait" Jeongyeon placed her foot between the door and the frame "can we talk"

"Talk Jeongyeon" Nayeon grew impatient

"not in the hallway please" Jeongyeon begged

Sighing Nayeon stepped aside making enough space for Jeongyeon to slip through.

She patiently waited for Nayeon to put the flowers away and sit across from her.

"Nayeon" she started "i'm so sorry i did this to you, i'm so sorry i did this to our relationship, it is the worst mistake of my life and i've been punishing myself for what i did, but i can't live without you Nayeon i love you more than i love myself and i don't want to be alive if i can't be loved by you, please take me back" Jeongyeon pleaded.

"Jeongyeon" Nayeon started but began to choke on her words " i'm sorry i just can't, i can't look at you without seeing those pictures, we need some space apart so i can think okay"

"How much space" Jeongyeon began to tear up

"i'm not sure, a couple days maybe a couple weeks, please just give me time" Nayeon began to softly cry.

"Okay" Jeongyeon swallowed hard. The lump in her throat grew larger as she began to feel cotton mouth. "i respect your decision" she paused "I'll go" she got up and left quietly.

A couple days turned into weeks and eventually a month. During that monthlong break Jeongyeon would visit Nayeons apartment daily, dropping off flowers and gifts, chocolates and candies. Hoping and praying Nayeon would give her a second chance.
