PAST
Jungkook couldn't think straight for like past half an hour. He looked around the park and it screamed their childhood memories.
Most of the part in the letter Tae wrote wasn't even something he was able to comprehend. Yes there were times they couldn't hang out properly. Studies, friends and everything was drifting them apart. But he tried his best. He tried his best to be there for him.
"We could have talked! We could have. You could have called..." He fell on his knees and covered his face with his palms. He started sobbing woefully.
Jungkook panted heavily in desperation. He looked at the swing that moved lightly along with the force of the wind. He remembered how Taehyung and him would swing there for hours chatting about literally anything.
They would run around on the ground playing catch, football or ride their bicycles.
They would go to the nearby store and buy their favourite snacks. Cookies and creme flavour chocolate, Tae's favourite. He remembered.
He still had the cake with him on which "Happy Birthday Tae Bear" was written on. But what was he going to do with it? He cried his heart out in extreme agony.
"What am I gonna do now..." His mind was spiralling. First, his best friend moved without telling him, second he has to go to hospital with Jieun for the check up, and he also had to attend classes.
Everything was so rushed up he didn't even have time to process. Nothing seemed to matter to him though as he brainstormed ways to contact Taehyung in any way. "Any freaking way. What do I do? What do I do?" Jungkook gritted his teeth. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead.
A sharp ache pierced through his heart as he yelped in pain. He fell down on the ground clutching on his chest. His wolf howled like it was angry and crying. Like it was hurting his human. "Ah!" Jungkook cried. He almost saw black spots blurring his vision.
"What is happening to me?" He sobbed. "TAEHYUNG!" he yelled his name.
He didn't even realise for how much time he was there in the playground. The sun was about to set as the birds flew back to their nests.
Jungkook stared at the tree far from him, he was breathing heavily almost anguish. There was only silence around him in that playground. Only his breathing audible to him.
Nothing that he had to do was done. Didn't go to the hospital, did not attended the classes and not come up with any idea. He slowly lied down on the ground not caring about his clothes getting dusty.
He gazed at the sky. It is peaceful. But his mind? He wasn't feeling well. Everything was hurting and he just wanted his Taehyung back.
"Anything. I am sorry. I don't know what I did. Come back Tae. Please. I am feeling insanity. Please...please." jungkook didn't even know what he was pleasing for he just wanted him to come back to him.
"Jimin!" Jungkook's eyes opened wide. Jimin must know. He surely would. Without wasting any other second, Jungkook ran back to his own house putting the cake and everything in kitchen on the counter.
He rushed to the University dorms and checked for him but it seemed that he wasn't there. Taehyung had obviously moved out and he was told that Jimin was back home.
When Jungkook went to Jimin's place, the latter was shocked to see him when he opened the door, but then he masked it all behind his deadpan expression.
There was a strange silence between them. Jungkook surely didn't think this through but he was in despair. He was pathetically in great need of knowing where he was.
