15. Cherished

PRESENT

For other people it might just be another regular day, but for Jungkook, today was going to be different. He wakes up in the morning, his head feels heavy and dizzy.

He rubs his eyes and stares at the ceiling. Today was his appointment with Dr. Jung and Yoongi was going to accompany him. He was really nervous so he wanted Yoongi to come with him, for support.

He did his regular chores and decided to skip work for the day. He dropped his daughter Taeyeon to school.

Mr. Jeon already knew he was going to visit Dr. Jung, and he really wanted Jungkook to do this, he can't see his son like this anymore. Jungkook was on his way to pick up Yoongi.

On their ride to the hospital, Yoongi who was curious, kept bombarding Jungkook with questions about the location, or the problems he was facing.

"Wow Jimin is so excellently lucky to be dating such a quiet and calm man." He sarcastically answers.

Yoongi sighs and just leans back on his seat. He looks outside the window phoning a defeat. "well, then stop with the pheromones, they keep suffocating." He complains.

"I will tell when we get there, man." Jungkook's heart was beating in anxiousness. Yoongi huffs and caresses his shoulder. The rest of the car ride is spent in silence.

When they arrive there, Jungkook parks the car and they both make their way in to the hospital. Jungkook had already booked an appointment of 1pm so they were just informed to wait for few minutes.

Till that time Jungkook briefly told Yoongi about the disturbance between him and his wolf that has been acting up a lot lately. He even told him about the dreams he is getting that create quite a shock on Yoongi's demeanour.

"I thought we were over this?" Yoongi couldn't help but question. He obviously knows what is going on with Jungkook as the latter always tells him about everything.

"I don't know what to say. I am confused about a lot of things myself. Appa advised to talk to the doctor and maybe apply for some therapy too." Jungkook just sighs.

He tries to calm himself before the headache worsens. He was already confused and not being able to answer anything just made him feel more stupid.

"Don't worry. Let's see what the doctor says." That is all Yoongi is able to say but still dives more intensely about the questions arising in his mind too. After a few minutes passed, they are told to go in.

As they enter, Dr. Jung Hoseok was already waiting for him with a smile. He was expecting to see Jungkook but a flash of surprise passes through his face when his eyes catch Yoongi's who is resembling his expression too.

"Hoseok?" Yoongi gasps when he takes in his appearance.

"Oh, my Goodness, Yoongi is that you?" They both laugh upon identifying each other and share a hug. While Jungkook looks at them in utter surprise.

"Well, looks like you did get to live your dreams, rapper Agust D!" Hoseok teases him as Yoongi shakes his head.

"yeah, I did." Yoongi nods his head.

"you would give me an autograph later right?" Hoseok looks at him with excited wide eyes.

"You both know each other?" Jungkook questions while settling down on the chair in front of the doctor's desk.

"Oh no we are just roleplaying. No I am kidding. We actually used to be lovers." Yoongi looks at Jungkook with a deadpan expression.

"what on earth?" Jungkook gasps standing up too quickly. "okay head rush." He massages his head and sits back a bit slowly.
