17. Him

"Daddy, come on, wake up! It's time for school! Its time for school!" Taeyeon rolls on the bed and sits up on Jungkook's tummy.

She purses her lips when her father frowns, yet his eyes are closed and he refuses to wake up. She hit his chest lightly with her small hands, but he just groans and attempts to turn.

"Daddy, I will fall!" She rolls down from his tummy on to the soft mattress as her father cuddles her in his embrace, "You sleep too." He mumbles and starts snoring lightly.

"Daddy I cannot! I have a school trip today. We have to get ready, it is time to wake up. I have to get ready for school!" Taeyeon struggles in her dear father's strong arms, who does not move even after her countless hits.

"Ah, I don't want to go to school, let's sleep for five more minutes..." he murmurs carelessly in his sleep.

"Daddy please..." Taeyeon whines, wriggling out of his hold with an angry frown adoring her face.

Sometimes her father can act so immaturely, you can see that in the morning, and this happens every day. She is really sick of it. Is she the one who is elder in this house, or is her father the one who is the elder one here? She often wonders.

"Taehyungie, come on, let me sleep more." Taehyungie? She is Taeyeon! How can her father mistake her name? The little girl feels offended.

She needs to ask about this Taehyung person, whatever! And in complete anger, she smacks the sleep out of her father by slapping him one hard time on the cheek, waking him up hastily.

"Ouch! That hurts, angel!" Jungkook shakes his head, his eyes are still half open. He gets up to lean on his elbow.

"Get up right now!" she screeches, flinching him to his core as he slaps himself lightly to fully wake himself up. Taeyeon huffs, puffing her cheeks. "That's better! now you help me get ready and drop me off at school on time." Jungkook looks at her in shock.

Wow, she can be really scary sometimes. Well, if he is punctual, that is because he wakes up every day, courtesy of Ms. Jeon Taeyeon, who smacks the laziness out of him. The girl, unlike him, is an early bird.

Jungkook had some important work at the office today, and he had to drop Taeyeon off at nine at school. So, he quickly packed her tiffin with some sandwiches, fruits, snacks, and juice.

He even got her a new water bottle the day before. The school had already given them comfortable clothing to wear that is suitable for physical activities.

And knowing how stressed Jungkook is when it comes to being perfectly prepared for everything, he also checks the weather forecast for Seoul, even though it was a sunny day.

The necessary tickets for Lotte World were already organized in advance by the school facilities, and Taeyeon had submitted her permission slip, signed by her dad, in advance too.

"Daddy, did you pack my favorite shrimp crackers too?" She munches on the spoonful of cereal.

"Of course, how can I forget that, baby? Also, I want you to be absolutely careful there, alright?" Jungkook packed her tiffin box and put it in her bag, zipping it close.

Remember everything I told you, right?" He again asks just to make sure; she huffs, glaring at him.

"Yes, I do." She gets down from her chair when she finishes her breakfast.

Jungkook drives her to the school, and Jin also accompanies them, his bakery shop is somewhere closer to Taeyeon's school. So, he also drops him on his way some times.

When the Jeon family craves something sweet, they sometimes go to Jin's bakery shop for some drinks and cakes that Taeyeon loves. Especially the blueberry cheesecake, her uncles makes, it is very delicious.
