sunghoon stared at the paper in front of him, it read 'F'. yes, he failed another physics exam. he doesn't know how to study for it and he just doesn't care enough to make it happen.
he had different thoughts going on inside his head. what if he doesn't pass for this subject? what is he going to do to fix it? is the teacher going to say anything about it?
sunghoon shook the thoughts off and spared a glance towards his book, he saw all the questions they had to solve but he got none of them. how is he going to do this?
again, he was deep in his thoughts when the bell distracted him. "class your dismisssed! sunghoon and jungwon, can you guys please stay behind?" his teacher shouted over the ringing bell.
sunghoon and... jungwon?
you could say that jungwon hated sunghoon. sunghoon never took school seriously and he all he would do was flirt with girls, seek attention and just be the bad guy. you could say that they were the complete opposite...
he was more into the nice, goodlooking type of guys. he wouldn't say that sunghoon wasn't goodlooking, that wasn't the issue, it's just that his personality was not it for jungwon.
jungwons head perked up from his book.
what? why me and.. him?
sunghoon packed his back and walked over to their teachers desk, with jungwon following. "yes ms. kang?" jungwon asked.
she dwarled her eyes to sunghoon first. "sunghoon, i've seen that your grades haven't been the best over these few months and i need you to try your best." she insisted. "i'm sorry ms. kang, i've been trying but i just can't seem to get it right in my mind." sunghoon was actually disappointed.
ms. kang was relieved, knowing that sunghoon was trying his best. "that's okay sunghoon! that's why i called jungwon here too." she turned her head towards jungwon, he was already looking at her.
"jungwon would it be okay for you to tutor sunghoon?"
jungwons eyes widened. "s-sorry? tutor?" jungwon was very shocked, he actually didn't want to tutor someone like sunghoon. "there are benefits for you jungwon," his teacher started again. "you will get extra credit on your end exam, sunghoon you will get it too if you get a grade above 65%"
jungwon didn't know what to do but it looked like he had no choice. "okay it's fine." jungwon agreed.
the two boys looked at eachother, acting all shy. "was that it ms. kang?" jungwon asked, wanting to get out of the classroom asap. "yes jungwon, you two may leave now."
they both showed a quick smile and walked out of the classroom. jungwon didn't know how to start their convo, how are they supposed to communicate?
jungwon just decided to act normal. "sunghoon? can i have you number?" jungwon tapped his shoulder. "ehh, for what?" sunghoon lingered a little. "for the tutoring...?" jungwon questioned really confused.
"o-oh! yes ofcourse." sunghoon wrote his number in jungwons phone. "i'll text you about the first lesson is that okay for you?" jungwon handled the situation like a professional. sunghoon nod and walked off.
he was acting... normal?
even tho jungwon hated sunghoon and sunghoon knew, he would always tease the younger. jungwon didn't know what to do with it and shook it off, going home to his warm bed.

jungwon was sitting in the library, what is he gonna do now? it was their first study session and sunghoon hasn't shown up yet. jungwon had no phone with him since they weren't allowed in the library.
