jake could talk about him for hours. he was currently sitting in a bar, drunk as fuck, drinking another beer after taking 5 shots. sunoo, the bartender, looked at jake with pity. they were bestfriends and jake decided to stop by and take his mind off of things that were going on.
"jake? are you okay?" sunoo asked him, a little concerned about the boy in front of him. "no, i miss jay." it were his true words and feelings. "you what?" sunoo was shocked, he knew that drunk words were the true words, but still.
"i miss him sunoo, every fucking second of my life." jake confessed, his eyes tearing up as he was zoning out. "jake, i feel like you should tell him." sunoo said, frowning a little. "hm when do you think is the right time sun? it's so weird if i just go to his house and-" jake was cut off when he heard sunoo speak again.
"you can tell him, like right now." sunoo cut him off, looking at jay, who was a few meters behind jake. "what?" jake put down his glass of beer and looked behind him
there he saw jay, who was standing a little further behind him and shining trough all the other people dancing. jake saw a spotlight on jay, they were staring at eachother and a lot was being said without even speaking. jake felt his world stop, he tried to get up but without succes.
jay started walking towards him, jake turned around back to sunoo. he felt tears building up again, he didn't know how to keep them from falling so he let it all out. he knew jay would come to comfort him, right?
he was right, after a good 10 seconds he felt a presence in front of him. he looked up to jay and he met a pair of dark brown eyes staring down at him, jay saw jakes tears falling and wiped it with his thumb. "wanna talk outside?" jay asked him, interwining his hands with jakes. jake nod and followed jay outside but not before looking at sunoo
jay took jake out to the front and handed him a sigaret. jake gladly took it and smoked all his feelings away. "jay?" jake question the male standing next to him. jay answered by humming back to him. "what happened?"
jay froze a complete second. he didn't know how to react to this question, yeah what happened? he didn't even know what had happened himself. he was gone for weeks and now... he has shown up like nothing happened.
"speak to me jay!" jake was turning mad already, he was mourning for jay, he left him without saying anything. tears were welling up in his eyes and he turned his head away from him. "jay!" jake turned back to him, tears rolling down his cheeks now.
"so you're just gonna stand here? say nothing and expect me to talk to you?" jake was fuming, he yelled at jay, expecting to hear anything now. he was mad because he loved jay, he couldn't do anything about it.
after all, feelings were feelings.
when jay stayed quiet and nothing was said, jake understood. he threw the cigaret on the ground. his eyes closed for a second and he looked at jay, trying to get anything out of him. "fine then, have a good life jongseong." he was sobbing while fuming.
jay couldn't let him go like that, the love of his life. jake didn't know anything about that part.
they were dating for months until one day, poof, jay disappeared. nothing was said, no letter, no text, no anouncements, nothing. jake was devastated, he loved jay with his whole heart. he didn't know how he could do that.
