Three weeks is the amount of time that I have been away from the Winchesters. A few days after I left, they prayed to me, asking me to come talk to them. I heard them, but I couldn't go. I'm still not ready to speak to them. Anyways, they haven't prayed to me since then, so I don't think they need my help anymore.
I pace back and forth outside behind the bar, waiting for someone. I look up as the brown haired handsome guy steps out. He looks up at me as I stop pacing and look at him. A smile spreads across his face as he walks over to me.
"What do you say we get out of here?" He asks after a moments hesitation and smirks. I return it and step towards him.
"I'm not going anywhere with you," I say, making him lower his eyebrows. "Black-eyed bitch." His eyes turn black and he prepares to punch me. I place my palm against his forehead, killing the demon.
                              Riley?
I hear Dean's voice in my head. The lifeless body crumples to the ground.
Riley, come on, dammit. We're sorry about leaving you out. We want you to hunt with us again.
I sigh, then teleport to the hotel room that Dean and Sam are in. Dean looks up at me then stands up. Sam looks at me, too. I stand still and look at the ground.
"Hey, Riley," Sam says. I nod, keeping my gaze on the floor.
"Sam," I mumble. I look up at Dean.
"We're sorry," he says. "We didn't know what you were." I lower my eyebrows then sigh in frustration. Cas, you son of a bitch. I look away from Dean and stare at a random place on the wall to my left.
"Would you hunt with us again?" Sam asks. His eyes meet mine across the room and I can see how much he actually wants me back with him and Dean. I shrug.
"Please, Riley," Dean says, stepping a few feet closer to me. Butterflies fill my stomach and I force myself to look at the floor again. I nod slowly and look up at Dean again.
"Yeah," I say. "I'll hunt with you again." Dean smiles and Sam chuckles quietly. Dean reaches into his pocket and pulls out the angel blade I gave him three weeks ago. He holds his hand out, angel blade in hand. "Keep it," I say. I pull out my new angel blade, smiling. "This one is shinier."
"I think they're the same, Riley," Sam says. "Aren't all angel blades the same?" I lower my eyebrows and purse my lips together.
As I put my angel blade back in my pocket, I mumble, "they are not the same."

"Ruby will meet us outside of Cheyenne," Sam says to Dean. The younger Winchester is driving the impala this time, Dean's in the passenger seat, and I'm in the back. "She's been tracking some leads." Dean groans silently. "Look, I know she's not on your Christmas list but if she can help us get to Lilith--"
"Hey, man, work with Ruby, don't. I don't really give a rat's ass," Dean says tiredly.
"What's your problem?" Sam asks not too harshly.
"Pamela didn't want anything to do with this," Dean says quietly. "We dragged her back into it, Sam." His brother is quiet for a minute.
"She knew what was at stake."
"Oh, yeah. Saving the world," Dean says sarcastically. "And we're doing such a damn good job of it."
                              "Dean--"
"I'm tired of burying friends, Sam."
"Look, we catch a fresh trail--"
"And we follow it," Dean finishes, tiredly. "I know. Like I said, I'm just getting tired."
