Sam filled me in on everything that I have been missing for the past month. Dean killed Zachariah, an angel named Gabriel told them about the horseman rings and how to put Lucifer back, but then he died, Ellen and Jo died, and they met Crowley, the King of Hell.
Yeah, I guess I missed a lot.
As I now sit in the motel room browsing the web for any signs of Death(the horseman), I begin to think about everything that has been happening. I'm going to hell in four weeks. I'm going to hell.
I glance over at the boys, who are already asleep. I'll miss them more than anything. Right before Dean dozed off, he tried to convince me to step away from the computer for a while and get some rest. I kept on saying 'five more minutes', which I now regret since I'm about to fall asleep.
The doctors said I have to wear an eyepatch for a while. Layla told me that I'll probably have to wear it for three or four months. But with my quick angel healing, it should be able to come off in a month or less.
I'm going to die wearing an eyepatch.
Since we are in a familiar town, I decide to take a walk. I hang my headphones around my neck and play a Def Leppard song, just loud enough for me to hear it. After slipping on my sneakers, I silently leave the motel room, shutting the door behind me. The moon isn't full, but it's more than half. The light from it shines on the ground around me so I can see good enough.
I turn left and begin to walk, trying to remember how I know this place. After walking about half a mile from the motel, I freeze, stopping in front of an old house. This is the house I grew up in, the one I stayed in until I was nine years old. It still looks the same as it did when we left it.
Without thinking, I walk up the steps and open the front door. It creaks loudly as I push it open. The loud noise hurts my ears and I wince, quickly shutting it behind me. I turn the light switch on, but nothing happens. I pull a small flashlight out of my sweater pocket and look around. Memories start to flood over me as I look around.
When I get the feeling that someone is watching me, I spin around. I swear I hear footsteps. I blink a few times, trying to adjust to the darkness. Out of the corner of my eye, I see something move quickly.
Whatever, or whoever, is watching me, should've attacked me by now. Suddenly, I hear music playing loudly, probably from upstairs. I immediately recognize the song; me and my brother used to listen to it all the time.
Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide,
No escape from reality.
I continue listening to the Bohemian Rhapsody as I slowly make my way upstairs towards the source of the sound. When I get to the room, I see no one in sight, but there's a flashlight on the floor that's turned on.
Yeah, that's not weird or anything.
What strikes me even more is that this was my mom's favorite song. My brother listened to it all the time after she died. Suddenly, the music shuts off. I hear quick footsteps grow quieter and quieter. Officially creeped out, I teleport out of the house and back to the motel. Thankfully, the boys are still fast asleep.
