My cheeks rested into my palm, my eyes staring dead into the board, my mind somewhere wondering else.

My ears listening but my thoughts hear something else.

Ever since last night's events, I can't seem to get my head straight. It was pretty traumatising if you asked me, but the way Vasco just came in and saved me.

I shook off the thoughts once more and tried to focus on the lesson.

I sat up straight and tried to listen attentively.

"OH MY GOSH,"

I buried my face into my pillow, my head filled with thoughts, thoughts, and thoughts.

I just came home from the incident. My parents worried sick for me, but they quickly relaxed and told me to rest myself.

But I can't sleep.

How can I!?

I, myself, almost got raped by a middle-aged pedophile and Vasco saving my ass from that man.

The words faint as I looked up the ceiling. Clutching my pillow tightly and then rolling over to the side, kicking my feet in the air as I breathed out forcefully.

I mumbled to myself, sitting upwards and spacing out.

I snapped out of my thoughts, the bell ringing as I stood up to go meet my friends.

"Hey y/n," mira called.

"I heard about the incident last night, I hope you're alright,"

Mira said, concerned as I smiled at her warmly.

"Aww, thank you for your concern, Mira! I'm alright. "

I brought her into a hug as she hugged back.

"Want to eat with me?"

"Sorry, but I'll pass."

Mira nodded and waved goodbye as we both exited the room. My friends are directly pulling me over to them.

They reacted as I told them what happened, Ryujin felt guilty of what happened to me, but I reassured them.

"Don't worry, Ryujin, it's not your fault-" I tried.

She cried and slumped as we tried to cheer her up.

"Vasco is a scary guy, but damn I'll give him that for saving you,"

A friend of mine said as I tilted my head at their thought and glanced over to Vasco, who was eating over with his friends.

"Him? Scary?"

I mumbled to myself as I spaced out once more.

"I never actually thought of Vasco being scary, though..."

I said to them as they all turned their heads towards me.

"What?"

I slowly chewed on my food as they looked at each other and smirked at me, shaking their heads.

I raised a brow but shrugged them off.

The bell soon runs. I told the girls to go ahead as I had something else to do in which they obliged with no questions asked.

As soon as everyone got back to their classrooms, I quickly went over to the architecture department.

Peaking into their door and window to get a peak if Vasco is there or not.

After a few minutes of checking, I couldn't seem to find him.

Sighing as I turned around, I turned around, only to let out a short scream, placing a hand on my chest as I breathed.

Vasco and his friend Jace were behind me all this time.

"Oh? Aren't you the girl from last night? " Vasco said.

"Oh- uhm, yes!"

I cleared my throat and fixed myself, bringing out a smile to the both of them.

"What are you doing around here? Aren't you from the fashion department?" Jace asked, genuinely curious and suspicious.

"Oh, I just wanted to give this to Vasco! Thanks again for saving my life last night."

I handed him the box I was holding into and chuckled nervously.

"It's cookies, I made them myself. I hope you like it. "

Vasco examined it as I quickly left the two and went off to my room.

I quickly went back down to my seat, feeling my face heat up as I tried to focus.

"Ah y/n, are you alright? I'm sorry for what happened last night. "

Daniel came to me, his tone genuine as I smiled at him.

"Don't worry, I'm alright. Thanks for your concern, though!"

I brushed it off as he went back to his seat.

The bell had rung as the students all went home, leaving the school premises.

Meanwhile, Vasco has been staring into the bento in front of him.

"Vasco?"

Jace called out as Vasco snapped out of it and turned to Jace.

"Gonna eat that?"

Jace sat down beside Vasco as Vasco opened the lid, grabbing one for him and one for Jace.

Jace took a bite immediately as his face brightened up.

"Mm, it's good,"

He said as Vasco took a bite as his eyebrows raised and nodded, agreeing to Jace.

Devouring every single piece of rice balls that was inside the bento to leave the box completely empty with no sign of food left, not even a crumb.
