How could I forget?

I had a day to spend with Vasco because of my reckless behavior.

Well, yes, I sort of regretted what I did, I spent way too much on it. I'm such a dumbass.

But I don't fully regret it? Kinda. I don't know.

My friends had teased me about it nonstop yesterday. Of course they would.

Even today, they would not let me be. They had to freaking remind me every second. So did they last night, and let me tell you, it was until past midnight, but they still won't shut the hell up about it.

It's not like I hated it. Is it just embarrassing?

I mean, I wanted to pay him back somehow but not pay him back with almost all my savings.

At least it was going to charity.

And as early as the crack of dawn, my friends had come over to my place.

Getting comfortable as hell, looking like sweet innocent princess's, knowing damn well they're a devil in disguise.

What I didn't expect them to bring along was a tall, well-built, tattooed boy with them. Saying that,I still had him to use for the next few hours in which we had totally forgotten somehow.

I had forgotten about it that I totally was not ready and had to quickly maneuver my way.

Not wanting to make the boy wait for too long.

The man was waiting patiently for me, my friends giggling at each other, whispering and winking towards me.

I glared at them and fixed myself.

1 hour ago....

Vasco looked around the area, the same area where he had first ever noticed the girl he swore to protect. For some reason.

He couldn't forget that she had spent so much on the slave auction. He couldn't get it out of his head.

He was pretty surprised. He did not expect that to happen, especially with y/n.

Though he simply thought that she was trying to pay back for what he did for her, something like that.

He scanned the area in hopes of finding the girl he was looking for.

He had asked for help from Jace, which wasn't really the best option since he too was having troubles so they went up to find someone to help Vasco look presentable at least.
