I smiled at the two boys in front of me, clapping my hands in amusement.

"Wow, that was amazing!" I exclaimed.

They both thanked me as they had a small blush on their faces. Tomorrow is finally going to be the school festival, Daniel and Duke have been working hard on their upcoming performance for the past few days now.

The two looked like a mixed feeling of excitement and nervousness.

"Really? Thanks..." Duke said flustered.

I tiredly smiled at his comment, I've been hearing that for the past few days, every practice of theirs.

I leaned against the wall, smiling at them.

"Hey, don't doubt yourselves now!"

I encouraged them as they both nodded.

As the passing day continued by, I watched them both practice. Helping them here and there, and maybe helping out on how they're going to perform.

Ryujin and y/n's friends were hanging out without y/n because, simply, they didn't know where she was, nor did she answer their calls.

"Where the hell is she!?" Minji, a friend of theirs, exclaimed.

The others shrugged as they entered into a cafe and sat down.

Ryujin looked up after a minute of scavenging in her phone, a sigh of defeat escaping her lips.

"Still not answering..." ryujin said, defeated.

Mina, the other friend. Stood up and broke the silence from the group.

"I told that girl that we'd be hanging out today!" She said.

She checked back on her phone, seeing her messages to y/n still out cold and unseen.

Mia, who came to the counter to order, came back with an oblivious look. Tilting her head sideways.

"So did she answer -"

"No," they all said in unison

Mia slowly nodded her head in understanding.

"You know... that part-timer looks familiar. "

Mia pointed and smiled at them with such innocent looks.

They turned to look and stared back at Mia, dumbfounded at her.

"That's Jace, Mia!" They said in unison once more.

Her mouth formed an 'o' before speaking up once more.

"Maybe he knows where y/n is!"

They raised an eyebrow at her, glancing at each other.

"Why would you say that?"

Mia placed a finger on her chin and raised it in front of her.

"I'm not sure if it's only me, but y/n seemed closer to jace and Vasco,

She said and shrugged. Mina added.

"You're kinda right, especially since the incident a few weeks ago. Let's go ask Jace,"

Then she was quickly cut off by a man's voice who came to place their orders.

"Ask me what?" He turned to face the girls.

"Oh, we we're just wondering if you knew where y/n was," Mia blurted out

Jace looked at her, confused.

"I don't... really know? Why do you ask?"

"Eh? I thought you would have known!" Mia tilted her head.

Jace shook his head and bid goodbye as he went back to the counter.

The girls glanced back at each other, some confused on where the girl was to and some concerned for her, mostly just ryujin concerned.

"Wait! What if y/n got assaulted again!?" Ryujin started.

Her tone filled with worry, yet that was only up to her imagination. Guessing on what ifs there are to be, more importantly, that was the only thing she came with ever since she got guilty.

Minji calmed her down, the other girls doing the same thing.

"Yeah, but you could never know!"

Ryujin defended, nervously biting her nails. A habit of hers every time she'd get nervous.

"I'm sure she's fine, ryujin,"

Mina reassured her, settling her to sit back down and lower her voice.

Stating that maybe y/n could have been busy with something else or that she must have fallen asleep.

But meanwhile, with y/n, with her phone fully turned off to avoid distractions.

All oblivious and unknowing of her friends calling and looking for her.

She had already left the two boys alone, leaving her to her own state of mind.

As much as she loved the company of her friends and others, she much preferred to be alone with her own thoughts and her own self company to look back on things.

It's more like a self reflection time.

As much as things haven't gone out well for her, things have gotten sort of boring to her.

She didn't see much excitement as she did last year on her last year's of being a middle schooler.

Might as well find herself a new hobby or somewhat make things, interesting?
