"Buh- bye now" Kitty smiled offering Nikki a cup cake, "Get out" Red spoke as she passed him
"See you soon" she spoke a Nate took one, "Get out" Red said once more
"Dont be a stranger" Kitty joked as Ozzie grabbed a cup cake, "Get out" Red said as he passed him
"Extra icing" Kitty smiled as Gwen grabbed one, "That was mine" he glared at her, as Jay grabbed one and followed
"We never lock the sliding door" Kitty spoke, as Red shut and locked the door, "We do now"
"We're sorry, grandpa" Brynlee frowned, "Look, i lived through this once before. And I'm not gonna do this again without some ground rules. So you guys tell your friends, no eating my food, no drinking my drinks, and if they go in my room, my foot goes in their ass" Red explained, they both turned towards kitty as she began to speak
"You know, people keep all kinds of private things in their bedroom. My father kept a whip hidden in my parents room in case of a burglar. Also, he had a pair of furry handcuffs, in case.." but she cut her self off as she made a face of realization "Oh dear lord"
"I think they think im cooler than i am. Since we got here, its been amazing. We smoked.. a ham... and we tapped a.. a ham. I guess we're worried they're expecting more ham, you know?" Leia spoke as Brynlee looked at her wide eyed
"Thats an awful lot of ham" Red spoke up, "Honey's, i think you guys are putting too much pressure on yourselves. Why dont you invite them back for a movie night?" Kitty suggested as Red sighed, "Is nobody listening to me?"
"I dont know. A movie night? Wont it be boring?" Brynlee frowned as Kitty waved her off, "No, it'll be fun. We'll do it tomorrow. We'll rent a movie and make a ham. Since you kids are so obsessed with it" Kitty shrugged
"Ill get it!" Kitty yelled placing the laundry basket on the table as she went over to the front door, "Hey, which one of you yelled at my kids?" someone asked standing at the door
"Red, it's for you" Kitty spoke looking at him, "I dont know which ones are yours, but they deserved it."
She took that as her que to walk inside, "Oh, that's Gwen and Nate, and thanks. Im sick of yelling at them" she sighed sitting on the couch, "Yesterday, i caught Nate on the roof trying on rollerblades. I was pregnant with him for ten months. The doctor said it was okay, but i dont think it was." she spoke popping her beer open on the end of the table
"You moved in next door, right?" Kitty asked looking at her, "I waved at you later week, but you were washing your hair with the hose, so... i am Kitty and this is Red" Kitty smiled
"Oh, I'm Sherri. And, yeah, my shower head's broken. Turns out it cant support the weight of two fully grown adults" she laughed a little, "Oh, well, look at you and your hubby keeping things saucy" Kitty joked
"Oh. Actually, the hubby's our of the picture, but the guy ive been seeing is talking about us moving in together" Sherri spoke putting her beer on the table
"How long have you been seeing each other?" Kitty asked as she thought for a second, "Two weeks"
"Two weeks and he already wants to move in?"
"Yeah, he's kinda clingy. I should probably break things off. Its too bad. Hes got it all. Good looks, good job, blue Miata. Hey. You guys mind if i pop this in your microwave?" she asked pulling out a burrito "Itll take an hour if i use mine" she added
"Sure, sure. It's in the kitchen" Kitty smiled pointing at the door
"Oh. Kitty, you're a sweetheart. And Red... yeah" Sherri nodded before going to the kitchen
"She has all sorts of things in that bag" Kitty spoke as Red went back to his newspaper, "Yeah, she's like a trashy Mary Poppins"
"Maybe you guys are overthinking this" Kitty spoke looking at the two sisters who were rummaging through movies, "Could we fast-forward to the part where you two pick a movie? Oh!" Kitty laughed, "Fast-forward!" That is clever! I should send that in to Leno"
"Its really important that we dont pick something they'll think it dorky" Brynlee spoke looking at her grandma
"Well, you two couldn't pick something dorky if you tried. Come on. Leia, what's your favorite movie"
"Um, i guess Free Willy"
"Woah!"
"Dork city" Kitty and Brynlee spoke at the same time
"Im gonna go ask for some help" Leia spoke grabbing Bryn
"I was having fun with her making fun of you" Brynlee frowned before Leia hit her and pointed over to someone, Jay
"Stick 'em up!" Leia spoke scaring Jay, who dropped the movies in his hands, "Aah! Take my money! Take everything! My boss never locks her car! Her license plate says MOVIESLUT! I know. I dont want to say it. Im just letting you know. Please..." Jay spoke scared
"Jay, its just us. I was joking" Leia spoke as Jay turned around, "Oh. Yeah." he nodded wiping the tears away, "Me too. Good one" he sniffled
"Didnt know you worked here" Brynlee spoke leaning on the counter
"Oh. Well, i didnt wanna brag about being in show business" Jay spoke smiling at her
"Right." she smiled as Leia cleared her throat
"So we're trying to find a cool movie for movie night, and, not that im super worried about it or anything, but what's that one movie? You know, with all the guys and the place and.. the guys?" Leia asked as he looked at her
"Uh, Clerks?"
"Clerks, yes!"
"Get out! I love Clerks. Kevin Smith, right?"
"Oh yeah! He was so sexy in that" Leia laughed as Jay nodded confused, "Okay. Cool. Uh, well, lets see if i have it. Lets see.. Ah, crud, its out. Some guy has had it for six weeks" Jay sighed showing the two the screen
"Yo, Jay. I need your help in the bathroom" Another worker spoke coming over, "Its a Joe Versus the Volcano situation"
"Later, girl. Bye, Bryn" he smiled at her before leaving
"Do it" Bryn whispered to her sister, who looked around before nodding
