"He isn't feeling too well,
make sure not to stress him.
In fact,
he shouldn't do anything today,
of course except make coffee for me when
I come."
Yoongi warned the manager before
driving off to his own office.
_______________"Yoongi?... why are you in a hurry? Are you going somewhere?" Seokjin queried, watching the younger scurry up and down his office, He'd just entered his office to ask for something.
"Yes. I'm going to Hoseok. I need to complete this tho before leaving. The deadline is tomorrow. My dad might kill me if I don't present it in our next conference."
"Again? I thought you were just coming from his place not quite long ago."
"No! I just went to drop him off. Besides, his working hours is almost over. I should be there to take him home before it ends."
Seokjin scoffed, laughing. "Bruh I can never believe that a whole ass Min Yoongi would become a slave all in the name of love."
"Shut up!" Yoongi scowled.
He looked disorganized. Sleeve rolled up a little to display his perfectly tattoo muscled arm. He had a pen stuck in his hair, papers scattered all over his table, some on the floor, and some on his table as he paced up and down his office, trying to complete the work before making his way to Hoseok.
Seokjin had tried talking him several times to get himself a secretary, but he kept repeating the same thing. "Hoseok is coming. I'm keeping it for him." Seokjin gave up after so much try, leaving him to do his things himself.
"Done!" Yoongi exclaimed joyfully putting the papers in a file. "Goddamn! This place is a mess! Even me! Hoseok can't see me like this." Yoongi panicked, trying to fix his disheveled hair.
"That's why I told you to get yourself a secretary." Seokjin pointed out.
"I'm fine on my own. I'll just wait for Hoseok to return."
"Bruh you're all over Hoseok, I'm very sure the boy is gonna be tired. You mention his name in everything." Seokjin laughed.
"Isn't that the case for you and Namjoon too?" Yoongi quirped, making his way out of his office. "Help me close up for the day, and lock my office." He yelled behind him, rushing to the nearest elevator, his keys jingling in his fingers.
-
Hoseok stood akimbo, exhaling heavily as he sighted Yoongi walk into the cafe.
The staffs around bowed to him, quickly scurrying away to save their job. They always made sure they avoided him at all cost. Hoseok was the only one allowed to attend to him.
"What now?! You literally just dropped me off like four hours ago." Hoseok said, checking his watch. "Don't you have works to do?"
"It's five hours and forty six minutes." Yoongi emphasized. "And yes I've completed my works. Besides I'm the boss I can choose when to do my work, or I'll just give it to Seokjin or Namjoon to do it.
Hoseok snickered. "That's not fair, they also have their works to do."
"Well it is fair when you're the boss. After all I'm paying them. Plus they don't mind helping me. We all help each other out when the time comes.
"Why did you come tho? I told you not to bother, I'll take the bus." Hoseok changed the subject. Placing the coffee he'd just made for the elder on the table.
"I can't let you go home alone. It's been really dangerous around this neighborhood recently. Besides, you aren't feeling too well." Yoongi said, taking a sip of his coffee. He cringed at the too sugary and milky taste. He wasn't a fan of sweet things.
"I'm fine."
"This morning ..." Yoongi's voice trailed off.
"Nothing happened this morning!"
Yoongi frowned, leaning back on his seat, arms folded, gaze drilling into Hoseok's. The look he gave didn't seat right with the younger."
He looked away, gaze going to the floor. "N- nothing happened. It was just a dream." He muttered, gaze still not meeting Yoongi's.
Yoongi signed, unfolding his arms. "Alright, it's just a dream. But still, I can't leave you alone, I'll be the one taking you to work and back home from now on. Is that clear?"
A nod was Hoseok's response.
-
"Do you want to tell me?... about ... the dream?" They were in the car, driving home, when Yoongi brought up the topic.
Hoseok shook his head. His demeanor instantly changing to what Yoongi couldn't tell exactly.
Fear?
"I- I don't want to talk about it ... not yet." He looked out the window, watching cars drive past them.
"Alright ... I'll be there to listen to you anytime. Okay?"
Hoseok didn't responde, gaze still locked outside the window.
The ride home wasn't very conversative. Hoseok seemed quiet and it baffled Yoongi. 'Did he pull a string by asking him about the dream? Was he not supposed to ask him?'

.
."Can I hug you?"
"No!"
Like always
"Ahh come on! I thought you'd say yes this time! I already hugged you this morning." Yoongi whined like a five year old child.
They'd gotten home and were getting ready for bed. Hoseok was about to make his way to his room when Yoongi decided to bring this not so necessary argument.
"Tha- that was different!" Hoseok said with a flustered face. "You stole the hug!"
"You hugged me back! Hell, you didn't even want to let go!" Yoongi pointed out, happy seeing the flustered expression on the younger face. "Pleaseee say yes!"
"Arg!! Whatever!"
Yoongi' eyes went wide, a smile following. "I can?"
"Yeah... be quick before I change my mind." Hoseok answered face red in embarrassment.
Yoongi sprung on his feet, rushing towards the younger. Pulling him to a tight embrace the moment he got to him.
A satisfied exhale left his lips as he inhaled the familiar vanilla and strawberry mixed scent, his new favorite scent mixture.
They were there for so long that Hoseok thought he'd fall asleep in Yoongi's chest. It was so comforting.
After what felt like forever, Yoongi finally withdrew, still not letting go of the younger. Hoseok still had his face pressed willingly to the elder's chest.
"Now that I can hug you whenever I want. Here comes my next question. Can I kiss you?"
Hoseok withdrew from the elder instantly, pushing him away. "No way!!"
Yoongi smiled sheepishly, scratching his nape. "Okay... sorry."
"Don't tell me you're gonna start asking for that everyday!"
"Yeah I've progressed from hugs to kisses. Yoongi answered triumphantly, a mischievous grin on his lips.
"Uff! I'm beginning to regret letting you hug me." Hoseok groaned, stumping his feet as he stormed towards the stairs.
"I know you enjoyed it too. You were almost falling asleep in my embrace." Yoongi teased, smiling as he watched the younger cute reactions.
"I didn't!!" Hoseok yelled from the top of the stairs, quickly rushing into his room.
