Hoseok gave his sister a thankful
thumbs up the moment his foot
touched the ground.

Jiwoo had to leave early, because of an emergency at work.

It was just left with the two unstoppable nagging brothers and Hoseok. Thankfully, they hadn't started another unnecessary argument since Jiwoo left.

They were all sitted on the table, having their supper. Having little conversations between their meals.

Yoongi noticed Hoseok bearly touched his food. Yoonbin had literally almost finished all the meals scattered on the table, and there hoseok was, still on his first plate, looking untouched.

"What's wrong? You haven't touched your food." Yoongi whispered, enough for only Hoseok to hear.

Hoseok turned his gaze to the elder. Seeing the worry in his expression. He gave a warm smile, hoping that it would ease the elder's tensed mind. It did.

"I'm fine." I guess I'm full." The younger whispered back, gaze leaving the elder immediately.

Yoongi frowned. That was a lie. He hadn't eaten anything since the night before. "He was about to say something when Hoseok caught him off.

"Little one, why are you still in your uniform? Don't you have school tomorrow?"

Yoobin smiled, munching on his fifth banana. "Dad gave me permission to ditch school tomorrow. He said I can spend the whole day with you if I want. Plus it's Friday, not much school work is done on Fridays, only club activities." He answered, already picking his seventh banana. "Isn't that great? I get to stay with you and Yoongi Hyung for the entire weekend.

Yoongi snorted, muttering something under his breath, but the other two could still hear it. "I don't know why Dad would want me to watch after his own kids."

Yoobin scoffed. "Aren't you also his kid?"

And their argument began again. Hoseok wondered if this is how they argued everyday over the littlest thing. He argued on stupid things with his sister too sometimes, but not this much.

Seeing this as an opportunity to leave, he quietly got up, making his way up the stairs, hoping they wouldn't catch him. Who was he kidding?

"Hoseokie Hyung! Are you going to bed already?"

Hoseok paused on his step, signing lightly as he turned around, smiling as he faced them. "Yeah, I guess I'm tired already." He answered the younger, hoping no more questions would be asked.

"But you haven't finished your food." It was Yoongi that spoke this time.

Yoongi didn't fail to notice the younger's shoulder go slum, an un easy look in his gaze, as he still tried to hide it with a smile. "Yeah, I think I'm full." He managed to answer.

Both brothers turned their gaze to Hoseok's food, which still looked barely touched, and then returned back to the said male. One looking confused, and the other having a knowing look, the one that read 'tell me what's wrong'.

With an uneasy feeling, he turned back around, avoiding their gaze. "Good night." He muttered, as he made his way up the stairs.

Yoongi got up, abandoning his almost finished meal. "Good night, squirt, I'll see you tomorrow. I need to talk with Hoseok." He said, eyes not leaving the said male as he made his way up the spiral stairs.

Yoongi hurried after him, quickly catching up with him in a few seconds. "Let's go to my room." He said grabbing his hands, and leading him to his room.

Hoseok lazily followed, letting the elder drag him. "But I need to change to my night wear."

"You can wear my cloth." Was Yoongi's response, as they stepped into his room.

He ensured to close the door shut, before having his full attention on the younger.

"Tell me what's wrong." He demanded, sitting the younger down on the bed, and crouching in front of him.

Hoseok had his lips in a thin line, staring back at the elder. He shrugged after a long silent minute. "There's nothing wrong." He answered with a neutral expression.

Seriously, there wasn't. Or was there? He was thankful earlier when he just woke up, not hearing any voices again. He thought it was all over, until he carried his chopsticks, ready to take a bite from his meal when a voice returned. The one he'd just developed the night before.

You're not going to eat that food. Are you?

You fat ugly pig.

You should loose some weight if you want Yoongi to still find you attractive.

Honestly, Hoseok didn't think he was fat nor did he think he was ugly. He just wanted to stop hearing the voice. That explains why he didn't touch his dinner. Maybe as time passes by, he'd stop hearing the voice.

But it wasn't that easy. He knew of it. Hoseok wasn't dumb. He knew all these voices were his own mind replaying itself, from all the traumatic encounter with uncle Denis and his parents. All of the taunting words they said to him while he was held hostage and before he even knew Yoongi, were the ones replaying. Maybe he really needed to see a therapist, it wasn't gonna be that easy fighting them on his own.

"That's a lie." Yoongi pointed out, snapping him out of his thought. "You haven't eaten anything since last night, yet you barely touched your food this evening."

Hoseok signed, falling lazily on the bed. "I guess I'm not hungry."

Yoongi frowned, sitting on the bed, next to him. "I'm not taking that for an answer-..."

"Hyung...! Pleeeaasssee ...!" Hoseok stressed, throwing a pleading gaze at the elder. "I'm just not hungry, okay? I promise, there's nothing wrong."

Their gaze didn't leave each other for a while. One that read 'not now please' and the other that held a understandable expression.

Yoongi signed, falling next to the younger. "I know you still have a hard time opening up, but I'm always here to listen. Okay? You don't have to keep any burden to yourself. Let's all work on this together. Yeah?"

Hoseok hummed, nuzzling close to the the elder, hiding his face in the elder's chest. Yoongi arms instinctively wrapped around his waist, pulling him closer to his embrace.

A light chuckle left his lips. "I thought you wanted to change to a night wear."

"Your clothes are too big on me."

"But you love wearing them." Yoongi laughed, getting up and making his way to his closet. "I love seeing you in them too."

Hoseok smiled shyly, lazily walking after the elder. "Really? Then I think I now know my new favorite set of clothes."
