Birthday - Leah Williamson

This is the first story and first time writing so please give me any feedback or suggestions you have

I woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs filling the air. I roll over to feel if my girlfriend is next to me, patting the bed beside me it's empty. I chuck hair into a messy bun and walk downstairs.

Downstairs I find Leah (attempting to cook) standing at the stove with her airpods In singing and dancing to the music. I quietly go over to her and wrap my arms around her waist from the back and rest my head om her shoulder giving gentle kisses in her neck.

"Happy birthday baby" Leah says with a smile. While gently kissing your lips.

"Thank you, i see your attempting to cook for me" you say giggling as you know Leah can't cook.

"I hope it turns out alright, if not I can't try to make you something else" Leah says panicked that you won't like it.

"Hey if it's not edible I can make us something" you say knowing you will end up cooking.

"OK, after this though we are doing presents " Leah says

"Le I told you that I didn't want anything" you say as you take the slightly burnt bacon off the stove placing it on the plates Leah had left out.

After your slightly burnt bacon and over cooked eggs Leah tells you to go upstairs and get ready while she sets up your presents. Upstairs and have a shower,brush your teeth and get dressed. You wear a plain black tshirt with some blue jeans and your nike socks. Leah has told you that you are meeting up with some of the girls from arsenal and some lionesses for lunch.

Walking beck downstairs you see Leah dressed in a cream coloured jumper, blue jeans and her nike socks sitting on the couch waiting for you. She has a small bag in her hand. You go and sit next to her on the couch.

"Here's your gift baby" Leah says handing over the small bag .

"Thank you le, though you didn't need to get me anything" you say giving her a kiss before opening the bag.

You open the bag to find a small velvety box

"Le your not proposing are you?"

"No y/n, it's a promise ring . By giving this ring to you I promise to love you always"

"And forever"
