The Flower illness

~Ninth chapter~

Barbatos opened his eyes as he woke up. He looked around in panic.

-  Morax, Morax!

- "Love, what's wrong?" He sad hugging Barbatos.

-  I-...

- Shh it's okay, everything is going to be alright, you are safe know.

After a while Barbatos calmed down.

- Can I ask you something?

- Of course, what is it?

- How do you feel when you are spending time with me?

- Where did that come from?

- You were talking something about feeling safe in your sleep. Oh, and you called my name a few times.

-  I did, that's so embarrassing.

- I don't think it's embarrassing. I was merely surprised at first. So about my question...

- Well yes, I feel safe when I am with you.

- I am glad to hear that. I'm also curious what we're you dreaming of?

- "Well, nothing major we just cuddled in your domain." He sad shyly looking at the ground.

- "Hmm...I can make that dream of yours come true."
He sad rapping his tail around him pulling him closer. Are you okay with this ?

- Yes, I am.

They cuddled the rest of the night.
 
In the morning

- So, what are we going to do today?

- How about going for a walk and I can show you around Liyue?

- Sure, sounds great.

- Ok then, let's go.

After a while of walking they arrived at the harbour.

- Are the streets of Liyue always this busy?

- Not really, it's because of the Lantern Rite festival.

- Oh, okay.

- Lumine, what are you doing here?

- I came to visit the festival and speak with you.

- Alright then, shall we go to my apartment?

- Sure.

- I don't see why not.

At the apartment

- What did you want to talk about?

- Well, Bennet,Razor and Fischil kaida broke in to your house and found this letter.

- Ok then, so basically there was a storm and that baka trio thought it was a good idea to enter someone else's house and stay there untill the storm had passed.

- Ok that's the reason why they were in my house. Is there anything else you wanted to tell us?

- Yes, they found this letter in the house.

After she handed them the letter and they read it.

- I was also wondering, is The Sustainer of Heavenly Principales the right standing authority?

- Well, The Sustainer of Heavenly Principales is a title. It refers to a deity with a duty of making sure the divine law and the will of Celestia's ruler are being obeyed by other deities.

- She is basically under Barbatos's orders and has to make sure the law and ther will are obeyed.

- I get it she is an authority, but Barbatos is a higher authority then her.

- Exactly, you understood everything.

- Then, I still have one more question.

- What is ti?

- How come is Barbatos the higher to Celestia's throne?

- Well it's quite simple that's because  Barbatos is the grandson of The Primordial One. He was a ruler of Celestia and by the royal protocol a son of the ruler is the higher to the throne. Since he only had daughters Barbatos as his grandson became the higher to the throne.

- Them what about Kairos?

- Oh, she is my mother.

- She is your mother!

- Yes, Paimon she is my mother.

- Ah, sorry it's just that Paimon never expected to hear any of that.

- It's alright, anyways do you want to join me and Barbatos for dinner?

- I am really sorry, but we already have plans.

- We do?

- Yes Paimon we already have plans for the Lantern Rite.

-  It's a shame you can't stay  Morax's boss is organising the dinner as a celebration of the Lantern Rite festival. I doubt she would mind if we bring a friend with us.

- Well if that's the case then, sure why not.

- What Paimon is trying to say, is that we didn't want to be a bother if it was just the two of you having dinner together.

- I never sad that!

- Okay Paimon, learn how to put others first for once.

- Whatever

- Don't mind her we will gladly join you for dinner.
