Yn's POV

Its been a week ever since that talk me and Al had. We still do maintain minimal communication. It's like what I've predicted, but I have to take Al's advice. Get used to changes. They might come as good or bad. But nothing will make us put an end, our bond of friendship is strong.

We do still meet up but barely and we still visit our tree house. Vines and moss started to cover the tree house up. But the wood that my father used was sturdy enough to hold about few years. So its still safe to spend our time there.

We do talk on the telephone. Sometimes actually, exchanging letters even though his house was just close nearby. But somehow we got busy from studies and having our own lives so I guess its reasonable enough for us to do these kinds of stuff.

I started to learn how to bake, I requested my mother to teach me since I wanna help at her very own bakery called '(L/n's) Bakes' that she opened 4 years ago. Since my father was having a hard time providing us food and supplies.

Her bakery wasn't that popular, so it wasn't always that packed with costumers.

More likely they come in one by one, each customers come and go ordering baked pastries and coffee. I sometimes help at the bakery giving the customer's order.

But of course when I had the time, I help my mother bake. It was quite fun, until I made it as a hobby. Everytime, after school I come over to the bakery to help my mother at her shop.

As for father, he still works at the Carpentry shop. He sometimes helps at the bakery at his days off. So everything did went nice.

As for academics, ever since Al graduated and transfer schools, it was quite lonely. Of course I still have company such as Mimzy. One of me and Al's childhood companion as well. She's the same year as me so we ended up being in the same class.

Al on the other hand, had focused on his studies more often. He barely got any friends, me and mimzy are the only one of his companions that he has. And he's fine with it.

I took on a stroll at town with Mimzy today after school. Both of us walking down the sidewalk wearing our uniforms.

"Hey, y/n, have ya' ever wondered that somehow ya' like Alastor?" the blonde gal giggled as she asked her this all of the sudden.

"Eh? Whatever do you mean? Why ask that out of the blue?" I looked at her with a confused look.

"You know what I mean, y/n. So you do ya' have any interest to him? Or maybe feelings?" Mimzy has this amusing look on her face. Her lips form a smug grin while waiting for my response.

I shaked my head in amusement by her smug look. "Mimz, you know we're just best friends. I don't see him that way. He's more likely my older brother." I stated.

Her amused look just vanished quickly after telling her. "Why don't you?! Every gal in this town would do everything to get Alastor's attention. How come you don't see him that way??"

I sighed by her reaction. "I never or haven't looked at him in that way before. I always see and treat him as an older brother." I stated.

"Why'd you-"

"Mimzy, just cut the topic. I already told you the reason. There's no point to discuss this further." I told her as I cutted her question.

Mimzy scoffed in defeat and pouted in disappointment. I rolled my eyes playfully and chuckled at her attitude. As we continued to walk through the sidewalk, there was someone approuching us. I looked to see the person was but my eyes widened in shock to see Alastor walking towards us.
