It was 7 in the morning, the L/n Family was packing their things and putting their luggages inside the car. Y/n was rather excited. Although Alastor was more excited than she is. He couldn't help but stay awake last night by how thrilled he was knowing he'll be spending his time with y/n at the beach.

Alastor quickly packed his things and get dressed. He wore his usual white collared shirt with light brown trousers along with his black dress shoes. His hair styled, along with his wristwatch and glasses. He smiled infront of his mirror, admiring his look, he then took his bag and went downstairs.

He bid farewell to his mother as they both embraced each other. Luckily for them, his father was still asleep at bed who was in a hangover by drinking too much -yet again- last night. Abigail kissed Alastor's forehead making him smile gently.

"Have fun on your trip, cher. Don't get yourselves in trouble, is that clear?" her mother said as she fixed his collar.

He let out a giggle as he returned the lovely gesture by kissing her cheek sweetly. "Yes, Ma. Loud and clear."

"Je t'aime mon cher." She spoke softly while caressing his cheek.

(Translation: I love you, my dear.)

He leaned against her touch and smiled. "Je t'aime le plus, maman. Tu vas me manquer."

(Translation: I love you most, Mama. I'll miss you.)

"Oh hush now, you'll be back later. It's just a day at the beach." Her mother said while messing up his hair.

"Ma! You'll ruin my hair!" He exclaimed while he laughs out loud along with his mother, trying to remove her hands off his head.

After their last goodbyes, Alastor waved at her once more before leaving as he approach Y/n's cabin with his heart beating fast. He felt anxious by seeing Y/n once again. He takes a deep breath and sighs to ease his nerves. He arrives at Y/n's house, witnessing her Father wiping his car's window. Alastor greeted her Father and talked along the way while waiting for Y/n and her mother getting ready.

Ladies sure do take time on getting themselves dolled up. They were just discussing about politics, which surprisingly they have in common with. While Y/n gets herself dressed for today, her mother was cooking for their meals on the way at the kitchen. However something was troubling for y/n.

She was thinking about the events yesterday when they went to town buying their swimwear. Alastor was acting strange ever since they celebrated Mardi Gras together last year. She can't quite figure out what's wrong. He acts differently like he was more polite than before: 'He would open the door for me, help me carry my things, always stay close at my side like a protective guard dog.' she thought to herself. Or maybe she's just imagining things?

Or is she?

She would just assume that he's just looking out for her. But he's a bit more close than usual. Maybe he's just worried about her and he cares for her. She knows their like siblings. So of course she thinks the reason behind it was she's a sister to him. Oh how wrong she was..

After preparing, y/n and her mother left the house as Alastor and y/n's father were just having a friendly conversation. With Y/n approaching them, Alastor noticed her from the corner of his eye. He glanced at her before his eyes widened from the sight behold.
