Alastor's Pov

Mardi Gras is finally here, every building on town has colorful decorations as everyone would get ready to celebrate and prepare for the 'Carnival' parade

After Y/n won as the 'Melody Star' of her Competition. It was all over the newspaper and radio broadcast. She never felt proud of herself of her 12 years in life. She would always mention it everytime, telling me what she felt.

I was happy for her that she enjoyed it, despite of the incident between Sally. Although, I was glad I could help her. She kept saying she owes me which I decline for her returning the favor. However Y/n was stubborn, but that didn't stop me from stopping her offer to repay.

But.. I can't just get to figure out what am I feeling when I saw her perform on stage...

~~~ Flashback ~~~

I saw y/n appeared on the center of the stage as the spotlight was on her... beautiful form. She was shining, like she was a star that stands out than anyone here. She looked stunning with her mother's dress. Red looks good on her, she was so gorgeous. I feel warmth from my cheeks and chest.

My mouth was parted as I watched her sing and dance. She looked graceful, amazing, mesmerizing. She's like a Moon that you could stare at all night long. My cheeks began to burn up as her hair flew while twirling along with her dress, her voice is like my favorite song that I would listen everyday.

'Wait.. what am I thinking??'

There was this feeling again. I felt my chest pounding fast and hard, my stomach felt tingling.

'Why can't I figure this out?'

When she finishes her performance. I stood up along with the crowd clapping proudly and felt... different again. As if like I could see stars shimmering around her with pink aura surrounding her form.

When the Host announces she's the winner, I've never felt so proud and happy for someone in my entire life. We finally get to meet after the event, she ran towards me with her arms extended while smiling at me.

I smiled back as I embraced her, hugging her tight. I started to lift her up and twirl us around, both of us laughing as we enjoyed the moment. After that I put her down gently as her parents and mother approuches us congratulating her. Many contestants congratulate y/n as well. I wasn't surprised Mimzy came too.Both gals would squeal in joy, jumping up and down while holding both hands.

'How adorable y/n is..'

We decided to celebrate y/n's victory as her father treated us all to eat at a restaurant. It was kind of him to invite me, Ma even Mimzy. Luckily, father won't be home for two days since he's busy with his crap.

After dinner we would go to a park to relax and enjoy. While our parents would have a conversation as Mimzy went home early. The only ones left was me and Y/n sitting on the grass while looking above the starry night.

And as for that moment, I won't forget Y/n's words..

"Al, I don't know how I will explain that I thank you so much.." y/n pauses as looks at her trophy that she was holding with a gentle smile. "...but all I could say, was I'm lucky to have you." she looks at me and spoke.
