"What?" I said, it was probably obvious that I was confused.

"I said I'm sorry?" He scowled, giving mixed signals as to whether he meant the apology or not.

I stared at him, starting to walk past him. He let out a scoff after I brushed past him. Did he expect me to forgive him? He was so rude for no reason, no way was I forgiving him at all.

I sighed and turned around. I guess he was trying, so it'd be only fair if I tried to make up with him, which I probably would still hate him no matter how sincere his apology was. I was going to be a brick wall.

"You could at least try to be more genuine with your apology. You know that, right?" I sneered, glaring at him as looked at me with annoyance.

"Why should I give a genuine apology if you're going to be rude?" He snapped back.

I rolled my eyes and turned back around, storming out of the mall. I looked around for Tyler's car when I finally made it out of the mall.

Who was Leonel to call me rude? He may have been right, but he's way worse. He has no room to talk if he's a douche himself.

Tyler pulled up in front of me. I went toward the front seat but saw Jazlyn already there, it looked like she was giggling. I sighed and opened the back seat door, hopping in.

"Bet you didn't expect me to be in the front seat," Jazz bragged, looking back at me from the front.

I rolled my eyes, looking out the window, the interaction with Leonel Cruz flooding back to me. He may have tried to be sincere, but I still wasn't going to accept the apology.

A voice broke me out of my thoughts, the voice being Tyler's. "What had you thinking so hard?" He questioned me Jazz let out an excited "yeah" after Tyler finished speaking.

"Nothing, just this person who doesn't know how to say sorry correctly," I shrugged, looking down into my lap now.

"Which is?" Jazz looked back at me, hitting me on the top of my head.

I winced, glaring at her.

"None of your business, that's who," I grumbled, rolling my eyes.

She turned back around and leaned into her seat, clearly upset that I was being so mysterious with her. I don't understand why she felt that I needed to tell her everything and everyone I knew or had an interaction with. At least Tyler knew how to respect boundaries.

We sat in silence for a few minutes, it staying hard to stay awake for the twenty-minute drive.

"Can we stop at the store? I wanna get some ice cream first," Jazz beamed, causing me to stir.

I hadn't fallen asleep but was pretty close. More reasons for me to be annoyed with Jazlyn.

"Yeah, sure. We can go through a McDonald's drive-thru," Tyler got in the right lane, a McDonald's is down the street if we were to go right.

"I don't want McDonald's ice cream!" Jazz scoffed.

She was pretty spoiled, too. She thought she was too good for certain things and could never get enough of the good things.
