𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙀𝙙𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙚, I watched Alec open the doors for Jane and his eyes turned to me, I stared into his red eyes as I stepped through the door into the great hall and he walked behind me.

I heard Edward push the doors open, holding Bella in his arms. I stopped in the middle and Alice soon arrived beside me.

There were three seats in the hall where three vampires sat. One had long dark hair and a sad expression on his face, the middle one looked eerily happy and next to him was a blonde who looked angry. Marcus, Aro and Caius. Carlisle has told about them.

Aro clapped his hands together getting up from the chair and approaching us. "Aah you brought us guests." He said excitedly eyeing us. I saw how his eyes landed on Alice, from where they quickly wandered to me. "You're new face." He almost whispered but turned his eyes to Edward and Bella.

"What a happy surprise, Bella is alive after all is that wonderful!" He exclaimed and looked at Marcus and Caius who were staring at the duo.

Marcus' eyes flicked to Alice and then stopped at me. I didn't want to look him directly in the eyes, but I felt them linger for a moment before Aro started talking again.

"I love happy endings." He took steps towards Edward and grabbed his hand. "They are so rare." He closed his eyes for a moment and opened them.

"La tua cantante, her blood appeals to you so much... it makes me thirsty. How can you stand to be so close to her?"

"It's not without difficulty." Edward answered.

"Yes I can see that." Aro laughed and Edward glanced at Bella. "Aro can read every thought I ever had, with one touch. And now you know everything. So get on with it." Edward snapped.

You are quite a soul reader yourself Edward. Though, you can't read Bella's thoughts... Fascinating!" Aro exclaimed. I glanced around and my eyes met the boy's red eyes again. I locked them perfectly and experimented with how long he would hold eye contact.

"I would love to see... if you are an exception to my gifts as well. Would you do me the honor?" Aro probably talking to Bella and I continued to stare at the boy.

After a moment of silence. Aro opened his mouth again. "Interesting. I see nothing. I wonder if... Let us see if she's immune to all our powers. Shall we, Jane?"

" No!" Edward exclaimed and my eyes snapped in their direction.

"Pain."

Edward lunged in front of Bella and fell to the ground writhing in pain. "Stop! Stop, please! Stop! Stop!" Bella begged and Alec sped in front of her.

I stepped over to Edward crouching next to him, and looked him in the eye. 'Stop feeling, it's only in your mind, you don't really feel anything.' Edward looked at me and soon his expression softened and he closed his eyes. I helped him up.

"Just stop hurting him, please! Please!" Bella begged again and Aro turned his eyes to me.
He tilted his head in surprise as Edward was no longer writhing in pain.

"Jane?"

"Master?"

"Go ahead my dear." Aro pointed at Bella and Jane turned to look at her with a wicked smile on her face.

"This may hurt just a little."

I turned my head towards Bella and watched as nothing happened. Aro started giggling loudly and clapped his hands together. "Remarkable. She confounds us all. So, what do we do with you now?"

"You already know what you're going to do Aro." Marcus spoke. "She knows to much. She's a liability." Caius snapped angrily.

"That's true. Felix?" Aro gasped and Alec pushed Bella around. Without blinking, Edward threw Bella over and faced Felix. Alice and I looked at each other and set off at the same time. But I felt someone speed up to behind me and take me by the throat with one hand and the other by the hip, pulling me further away.

"Let go of me." I snarled in a low voice.

I got a low growl in response and turned my head to meet the same red eyes I've been staring at the whole time. There came a growl inside me and I tore myself away but in vain he was quick and held tighter this time. "I like rough moves, but you have to try harder." I said in a low voice smirking and this time he squeezed so hard if I was human my neck would have broken.

I leaned into his hard chest and looked into those red eyes to find him already staring at me. He loosened his grip but still held my hips.

I watched as the blonde Volturi member held Alice and Felix tossed Edward around the hall. Throwing Edward out of the way, Felix stopped to look at Bella, but Edward attacked again.

"He really loves that human." I quietly mumbled to myself, but the brown haired boy heard because I could feel his eyes on me.

"Please! No, no! Please! Kill me... kill me. Not him." Bella begged again.
Aro showed Felix and walked closer to Bella with a questioning look.

"You stupid." I mumbled again.

"How extraordinary. You would give up your life... for someone like us. A vampire. A soulless monster."

"Bella get away from him." Edward said.

"You don't know a thing... about his soul." Bella spoke bluntly and Aro stared at her.

"Forse è uno o l'altro. Ah this is a sadness. If only it where your intention to give her immortality." Aro spoke and approached Bella with his slow steps until Alice intervened. "Wait!" I snapped my head in her direction and she gave me a small nod.

"Bella will be one us. I've seen it. I'll change her myself." She said and held her hand to Aro. I could feel Marcus's eyes on me again and he was also staring at the boy behind me with a thoughtful expression. I looked to his side and Caius was also staring, glancing at Marcus.

"Aro." Marcus said and he turned around.

Marcus held out his hand and Aro quickly took it. "No." Edward mumbled hearing Alec's thought, and Bella looked at him questioningly.

Edward turned his eyes to me and I raised an eyebrow at him questioningly. Aro turned to look at me and the boy behind me with a wide, beaming smile on his face. "Alec." He said and I felt Alec move behind me, his head coming closer to my neck, nose nuzzling my ear.

"Sei la mia anima gemella." He whispered in my ear bringing cold shivers to my skin.
