Jungkook's POV
"Jungkook-ah!" My girlfriend beckoned me over to where she stood.
"Yes, Soo-Ah!" I called back to her, then made my way to her side at the window.
"Look who's here!" She said.
"I can see that baby. But you're still not doing what you said you would." I hold her from behind and whispered into her ear, making her shiver.
"Ya! Behave." She turned around to face me, smacking my bicep, still in my arms. "My parents just got here." She scolds me, but grins to herself at the attention I'm giving her.
"You like this don't you?" I teased her, nuzzling her nose.
"Aha." She nodded, as she placed her head on my chest.
Soo-Ah was an interior decorator who had a passion for Christmas. Ofcourse, her birthday was also on Christmas day, which probably explained why she was so cheerful and such a joy to be around.
We'd met two years ago at an event she had designed for and I fell instantly in love with her. Two years is a pretty long time for me, as someone who's never been able to hold a conversation for even two minutes with anyone.
That's why, tonight, before we sing Carols as Yoongi hyung plays the Piano, I want to propose to her. I can't imagine my life without her.
It was Christmas eve and we were expecting a whole lot of guests over at my house. Soo-Ah lived with her sister Yoon-ah and their brother Yoongi. While I lived with my friends Jimin and Taehyung.
It was time I settled down with Soo-Ah and maybe even started a family of our own. We'd talked about it thousands of times and yet, even though I know she was ready to marry me, I was nervous to ask her.
