Welled up in my eyes

Silence !

Silence was all I heared

you lay in front of me

eyes closed, mouth shut

free from this world's agony.

My face felt numb

maybe because of my silent ears

or maybe my blood went cold

all this silence I can't bear.

I wanted you to speak

to open your eyes and say its just a joke

I wailed, I prayed, I wished, that somehow

this pain I may revoke.

I watched your vessel burn

dust to dust and ashes to ashes

you left for a better place

all bonds that you once formed

your soul itself detaches.

I miss you so much

that I'll even strangle time

If I ever get my hands on him

for taking away, what once was mine.

They say wounds heal

but scars do remain

even though you are not anymore

I am bound to you

by an unknown chain.

They say you are far away

even higher than the skies

but you'll remain close to me

as memories, welled up in my eyes.
