"..."
Jungkook stopped ruffling his hair with his towel, thinking his eyesight had gone bad. He was in a daze for a few seconds before snapping out of it. Tossing his towel aside, he got up and headed to his room, going after Lisa.
This room used to be hers.
However, ever since Jungkook moved in, its interior had changed slightly with the addition of a desk. The bed had been moved from beside the window to the middle with a bedside table on its left and a standing lamp on the right.
Lisa was now standing in the middle of the room.
Unsure of what she was about to do, Jungkook walked over and blocked her way.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Lisa's forehead bumped into his jaw and she stopped, tilted her head slightly and stared blankly at him. Slowly, she bypassed him with the intention of walking further into the room.
Jungkook took a step as well and blocked her again, "You're going the wrong way."
Lisa glanced at him again like she was processing his words, or maybe she was waiting for him to move aside.
As though he was speaking to a child, Jungkook patiently said, "This isn't your room."
Lisa didn't move.
Jungkook didn't touch her either, but nudged his head.
"The door's that way."
Lisa blankly stood there for a while before seemingly understanding his words. She turned and obediently walked towards the door just like a robot.
Afraid that she would go the wrong way again, Jungkook followed along this time.
Only after he saw her enter the room and close the door behind her did Jungkook return to the living room for his laptop. He switched off the lights and left the corridor lights on. He went back to his room and sleepily scrolled through the messages on his phone.
He soon put the device away.
Jungkook's eyes were tired and sore. He shut his eyes but thought about the way Lisa entered his room haphazardly a short while ago.
Her path had always been the same, so what changed things this time?
Or was it because his door had always been shut the previous times and she had no means of entering, but this time it was wide open? As irregular as her sleepwalking habits were, she was able to scramble around as long as it was in an unenclosed space?
Every cell in Jungkook's body was protesting in exhaustion, but thinking of this, he opened his eyes, walked out of his room and shut the doors to the balcony and the kitchen.
The next day.
Lisa opened her eyes and sat up. She glanced over and noticed her chair in front of the dresser. It took her a while before realising that she must have forgot to put the chair against the door last night.
However, she hadn't been sleepwalking recently and didn't really bother about it.
She lazed a bit in bed and opened WeChat to see Jennie and Taehyung chatting. Seeing Taehyung's name, she recalled what Jennie said yesterday and searched up 'Spacial Tech' online.
Before she clicked into the link, Lisa regained her reason.
It was none of her business so why was she looking this up?
Lisa gathered her thoughts back and quit the browser.
She got up late. By the time she came out of her room, Jungkook had already left.
